Raccoon Valley Golf Course
About

Raccoon Valley Golf Course (formerly known as Raccoon International Golf Club) sprawls across gently rolling woodlands, featuring scenic vistas of the surrounding countryside. The course is known for being home to the longest par 5 in the state, the notorious 17th hole. This treacherous hole measures in at a devilish 666 yards that will challenge even the longest hitters. Although the terrain is mostly flat and open, there are some surprisingly dramatic undulations in the greens that will cause tricky uneven lies. There are several lakes that come into play throughout as well as a number of strategically placed bunkers. In addition to the penultimate hole, notable holes at Raccoon Valley include the par-4 eighth, which requires a 220-yard carry, and the 11th, a par 3 that plays over a lake to a two-tiered green guarded by a bunker.

666 yard par 5!!!
Play this course from the blue tees and it is a great run. Score par on 17 and you feel great. Beautiful par 3 over water to a two tiered green. Had a great time. Will be back. For 14 dollars with a cart there isn't much to complain about. Thanks!!!
Good golf for the money, friendly team.
Prior reviewers have commented accurately on the level of course maintenance. But it's still a fun course to play, a friendly place especially to take a new golfer. It's not Pebble Beach, but you'd not get on there for $12 (w/Cart). Blue skies, green grass, and it doesn't look at all like an office!
Good layout and fun however needs some attention
This is a fun course to play and I really enjoy the layout. However if you expect tight cut fairways and manicured bunkers this is definately not the course for you. The greens were in pretty good shape however a bit slow and mixed speed. The sandtraps were not upkept at all. They looked more like big balding dirt spots. Clearly not a soul has been in these traps this year for upkeep. That was disapointing. Our group still had fun and we always do at raccoon just don't expect a perfect course.
Course could you a little work
Greens are in great shape but the course is abused by carts without full cart paths on most holes. Overall the course played well but could use some attention.
Good times with friends
Nice course lay out. Bunkers need serious attention, we can call it muddy pot instead. Greens are small ears, need more accurate shot.
