About
The Grizzly Course is a collaboration between Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead. Since opening in 1972, this challenging layout has been host to numerous PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA events. The golf course features long, curvy fairways lined with towering trees and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. The three final holes feature water hazards, which are also accompanied by a difficult array of bunkers. It offers a fair amount of difficult holes but overall the course is playable for a range of skill levels, which is why it is an appealing layout for tournaments. In addition to the two courses, the Golf Center also boasts an 11,000-square foot putting green and an Academy Course with four championship holes.

It was very hot on a weekend and not beverage cart service and no ranger was seen on the course.
The Grizley
It has been over ten years since I've played here and the course was in great shape. We had a few slow groups in front of us but rangers were out trying to push them along. Great day on the course.
Staff is Wonderful
From the Pro Shop to cart center to rangers everyone is extremely friendly and helpful.
The restaurant food is always very good.
One of my favorite courses!
This is one of my favorite courses even though it is tough (especially if you seem to be a magnet for bunker greens haha). Everything was great except we were stuck behind a 5-some for the last 6 holes and it really slowed down our pace of play.
Fun day
We enjoyed our round. The course has a lot of history.

Good all around...
Not great but good. Greens, fairways, tee boxes and bunkers are all well maintained. Deceptively challenging and fun to play. I’ll play it again.

Tees, fairways, rough, and bunkers were all in great shape, greens were 95# recovered from aeration and had been topdressed recently, but rolled fairly quickly and were very consistent.
I think it’s the best that it’s looked in several years. I’ll definitely be back over the summer.
Grizzly course
The course is changing and fun. The personell are professional and friendly.
Not be layout
This is meant for Golf Now. You quoted me $6 more than the going rate. The staff was kind enough to adjust the price down by $6 per player.
Not bad
Greens pretty good on the WEST side . The NORTH side greens have something going on with them . Looks like a disease or where maybe the geese have chewed them up. But overall it’s in decent shape considering the crazy weather this spring!
Windy day
busy day & very windy. Trees were being taken down and the wind was blowing fine sawdust as far as 2 holes over. No stoppage during play.
Rainy day
Golf course is really good but rain made my golf experience bad.
Sorry to disagree, but I’m 67 & this course has zero history. The entire front 9 of the Nicklaus-Muirhead design is long gone. Was sold to Cintas & condo building. The LPGA & PGA tour tournaments were played on a different course. Whoever did the 9 that replaced it (wasn’t Nicklaus did not try to build 9 holes that flowed with the Nicklaus course. Nicklaus made them take his name off of it years ago.
