good value; but odd holes and little service
Played 18 on Sunday afternoon for $45 with cart- lowest price in town I believe. No pace of play issues. Holes 10-15 are a cool little stretch, though 11 is extra long. Saw lots of wildlife.
Many holes had large elevation differences which made for tee shots that weren’t that fun. Holes 4 and 6 are pretty miserable. Rough was very thick in many spots. A number of fairways had a multiple
and larges patches without grass.
No beverage cart and grill closed at either 5pm or 6pm.
Overall, good value and would come back.
Hanover Country Club
Had a great time playing here, solid conditions loved the greens pace. Bunkers were unbelievably manicured. Enjoyed my brief time in the sand lol. Would recommend and will be coming back. Staff was very nice.
Play it again
Fun and challenging course always in good condition.
Good experience
Course in decent shape for mid April. Only real complaint is that the collar around the greens were spotty and rough which made chipping from them sort of random. Friendly staff. Pace of play, great. Didn’t eat it drink there so can’t speak to those things. Course will be in my rotation of ones I play this season!
Great challenge course
Cart path only due to heavy rain the day before. The course was wet very good condition. The course was very clean putting greens and tee boxes in good condition for time of year. Planning for at least 10 more times this year
Too difficult for seniors
Par 4s were too long, some 375 yards, with too many obstacles, bunkers, mounds, as well as elevated greens that kick to ball away. There's also hardpan under many fairways.
Nice Challenge
My son and I walked nine holes. The course is tight and gives you a good challenge for tee shots and challenging approaches. If you walk it be ready for some good hills up and down. They aerated the greens so they were a bit slow and bumpy but the breaks were still true. Next time I play it I will ride.
Loved the challenge
The first 4 holes had serious drops and uphill battles that I wasn't used to but really enjoyed it.
