Hanover Golf Club

We’ve been playing here all year & the conditions of the tee boxes, fairways, & greens have been really good until today. It’s been close to 3 weeks since we were out here and I’m guessing the heat & humidity over the last few weeks finally have taken their toll on the greens. I’m not sure they’ll get them back anytime soon.

I have three favorite courses in the Richmond area, Royal New Kent, Magnolia green, and Hanover Country Club! Yes, Hanover Country Club is in the same category as those other two amazing courses so go out and play it and see for yourself!

The fairways and greens are in good condition despite the het and lack of rain in the Richmond

Staff is awful and treat people like crap the tee boxes are in rough shape the greens roll different speeds and are bumpy and shaggy fairway are trash bunkers are hard your 40-50 dollars is better off at so many different courses staff is just horrendous

It was hot! 90 degrees so the course was not crowded in the middle of the day. Course is in good shape. Greens are good but the fairways are not in the best shape. Definitely a challenging course from the tips. Well priced and I will be playing again.

Beautiful course and extremely courteous employees! If I were to get a membership anywhere in this whole entire area this is where it would be! In fact I might!!

Great course the elevation changes were great. Greens are great I liked the course played whites as recommended.

Just another great day at Hanover Country Club! It was nice to have the staff members respect and help me! A lot better than the rude people at Ford's Colony I dealt with on Tuesday.

Found play at Hanover surprisingly good considering the cost. The pace of play was unobstructed. We let a single play through but he was young and moved fast. The course layout is interesting, shady and hilly.

With COVID, We were pleasantly surprised to see crew out wiping down flag pins (even though we don’t take them out now) and the sand trap rakes (which we did use). My only complaint was checking in. While I paid in advance on-line, I had to pick up a cart key. I get that but the pro shop employee was not wearing a mask.

Solid course, VERY narrow, back 9 gets crowded around #12-16

I have only given five stars in every category to one other course before, Royal New Kent, but I truly love this course and the way you feel when you're playing it! Teal is also probably the classiest head pro of any course I play!

Fun course with some beautiful views. Some of the fairways are tight but that adds to the value of the course. I’ll be back.
