Nice course
Course was in good shape, tee boxes looked good although there was some discrepancy in yardage. Front and back greens have been punched but rolled ok, some holes it was not much of a factor, greens should be healed by early May imo. Nice round, should have walked.
Wicked Cold Weather, But Had Course to Myself!
Staff was friendly and let me tee off a little early as I was the only golfer in the first hour or so. Whizzed through 18 holes in under two hours, even with CPO in place. I like this course. It’s not “easy”, but it’s not terribly difficult either. Only gripe is the cost in high season.
Not very welcoming to black players
Joined a friend to play on a cart path only day. Play was slow. After waiting on every shot, every hole, along comes a marshall stating that the group behind us had complaints about having to wait. There were 3 groups on the course in front of us. A foursome, a single, another foursome, my group of three, followed by the complaining three. We were all at the mercy of the first group. Out of nowhere the Marshall drives past my group to speak to complainers. Without accessing the situation to find the issue, he drives to our group and goes past the white guy in our group and comes to me talking about slow play. We would have had to hit into the group in front of us on every shot to be any closer. Based on other reviews this is a common theme from black players snd this course. Go elsewhere, unless you like supporting people with racial profiling issues. I’ve played for over 30 years and regularly play in under 4 hours at tougher courses. No excuse for this. Avoid
