Westfields Golf Club

Westfields Golf Club is a really fun and challenging course with a lot of memorable holes, especially on the back 9. The Fred Couples designed course will make you use your entire bag as there is a great mix of long/short par 3s and par 4s.

Even though it is early in the season, the fairways were in pretty good shape and the greens were rolling perfectly. I had played here in the summer of 2025 and the course was in rough condition (not their fault - super hot summer with minimal rain), so I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the conditions.

The staff was very helpful and nice throughout the day and the driving range/putting green were great. I definitely recommend Westfields Golf club especially if they continue having such great conditions.

The course was in great condition for it being the start of the golf season and the greens were rolling great. I played here once before in the summer of 2025 (not their fault -conditions were awful due to the heat and lack of rain), and I was pleasantly surprised to see the course with manicured fairways and good greens.

All of the staff were very nice and helpful and they had a great practice facility. The price at Westfields is very fair for the quality of the golf course and all of the amenities. I would recommend this to course to anyone in the DMV area.

It should have been a better experience, but the starter and course conditions really detracted from my round!!

The starter was a pompous jerk that had tunnel vision and didn’t seem to care about the overall experience!! He was more concerned with his one liners and quick responses than the golfers experience and round!!

For what I paid for this round and what a received from course conditions and staff treatment I would be hesitant to drop the amount of money they demand!

You have been warned!

For what they charge I would have expected conditions to be in better shape….tee boxes are in pretty bad shape, greens rolled well though

I enjoyed my round at Westfields. The staff is great! The course was in good early winter condition with these exceptions:

The fairways were littered with unreplaced/unfilled divots. I blame the customers for that. I used quite a few bottles of divot mix during my round.

The greens had not recovered from aeration and were quite sandy. I invoked my "Two Putt Maximum" rule!

I look forward to coming back in the springtime.

On the positive side, the course and the layout are great. I always love Westfields for the golf. On the negative side, the staff just have a vibe like they don’t care. It shows some in their attitude, but I mostly see it in how the property isn’t cared for. Golf tees are laying all over the driving range. Clubhouse is in desperate need of a power wash. Pathways around the clubhouse are falling apart. Potholes in the driveway. Many things are in disrepair which is unfortunate, because the golf course is great. Go for the golf, keep your expectations low for everything else.

I’m my opinion this is the nicest public course in the area. From the staff to tee to green.

Greens were recently aeriated and sanded causing putting to be inconsistent. Many leaves off the fairway leading to loss balls.
