Chapel Hill Golf Course

About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Nice course - terrible pace
I get it's a rural course. And it was a nice. Made you think about how to attack each hole, but was fair if you missed.
Took almost 4 hours to play 9 holes with a cart. Need to have a ranger to do the job of pushing it along. Because I've never seen anything like that.
Great Course
Not only is the staff amazing, so is this course. With as dry and hot this year has been, this course is in excellent shape. The greens were in great shape, fairways were excellent. Rough and tee boxes are in amazing shape too. This is definitely a great price point too. It was my first time playing this course. Definitely will make the hour drive to play again and again.
Cart GPS!
GPS & Bluetooth in carts. Good food and Drinks available!
Great track
This is one of my favorite courses. It's a great layout with some very challenging holes and some very gettable ones as well. Watch out for holes 7-9. They'll get you just when you think you have a good round going!
Great course
Great day golfed with a young couple first 9 then hooked up with a 3some adult great round as always
Very nice course to play, minus a couple features
Overall, this is an above average public course that is well maintained and offers a nice drive throughout the property while playing. There is a highly equipped clubhouse with a nice selection of food items. They have several range ball into net stations available. However, there ae a couple things to point out. Some carts have GPS tablets and some don't. We were not told that when we picked up a cart from the parked lot. There is 1 ball washer on the entire course and they have it on Hole #1, which makes zero sense. There are no yardage markers at all, except for two holes that have a 150 yd. stake in their fairway. We had to guess every shot what the distance was. We were told to download an golf app for gps yardages. There were a 5-some ahead of us all 18 holes, with sub-par skills (golf pun), that they were not interested in breaking up and that made for a very long day.
1 hotdog bun
Back nine only due to construction. Plenty of greens not maintained. Clubhouse and grounds staff were very helpful and nice. But at the turn there was 2 hot dogs and 1 bun available for our foursome.
Great place to rent clubs and take kids or folks new to golf.
The tees were in horrible shape. Need much work on their cart paths also.
The rest room door was completely broke. The tees were in real bad shape. Cart paths need much work. Fairways and greens are fine.
very nice course especially for the cost
This is a very nice course and was in great condition. Even though this course is about an hour away it was worth the drive especially for the cost. you can’t beat it.
