The 14th - a nice short par 3 with a tricky green. Photo submitted by GolferJake78 on 03/01/2019

The 17th - probably my favorite hole on the course. Photo submitted by GolferJake78 on 03/01/2019
Pace of Play is atrocious
Over 2.5 hours to play 7 holes! Pace of play is ridiculous that we left after 7 holes because we could not bare waiting longer than it took to play the hole. . There is no ranger on the course moving people along. Tons of walkers mixed in with golfers who ride makes for a long and painful day. This was my first and last time here.
Great condition/ rough is tough
The course was in really good condition and we had a great time playing here. The greens were beautiful but a little slow in the early morning from moisture. Stay out of the rough if you can! It is hard to find your ball until you are right on top of it. Accuracy is rewarded on this fairly short course.

Herndon Centennial is in GREAT condition from teebox, fairway to green.
Please don't go near the rough or second cut, they're too high and in USOpen condition!
Not Bad
This course was in surprisingly good condition for the price, but the pace of play was the worst I've ever had. Too many singles were let out between larger groups and it was not fun.
Overall nice day to play golf
Herndon Course has always been great playing. I like it but that day I did not like the fact that the Starter placed or allowed 2 singles between our group of 3 people. We let the single behind play by asking him if he can join the one in front, but ended up not doing so. Now we were dealing with 2 singles in front. On the back nine , of all things , another single golfer started his round behind us, which made one in our group felt he was being pushed. I have nothing against singles playing alone but please manage them wisely. I guess that’s why we have the Starter. And remind them to keep pace as they seemed to take longer playing the hole than a normal group. Practicing shots is intended for the driving range. Great but annoying day to an extent. Nothing against the golf course and folks @ Herndon, if I can play stress free.
Weekday Play was busy
Despite a weekday, Golf Course was somewhat busy on the close to 3pm and later tee times. Pace of play was manageable even with the groups. The Course look great but still needs TLC on the tee areas, the greens were nice. Overall, never can go wrong with playing Herndon Centennial.
Great Municipal Course
I belong to a private club in the area that doesn't keep it's course this nice. Excellent condition.
In great condition
Greens have already been aerated and almost recovered.
