Great Course - one of the best in the area.
Overall, definitely recommend this course for all skill levels. It runs a bit short but from the tips is a nice distance. My only issue is the old guys trying to rush through their round. We finished around 4 hours and I had old man river hitting in to me all day with 3 groups in front of us and no where to go. Then the marshall showed up to hurry us a long, again with no where to go. Outside of the grumpy old men, the course was great.
Greens roll true
Course in excellent shape…pace was good for a weekend, although last 3 holes were extremely slow.
Decent Public Course
Not bad for a public course. Staff was very nice and helpful.
The fairways and greens were well-maintained but do not drain well. Played two days after a thunderstorm came through overnight, and the greens were still soggy. The tee boxes were incredibly uneven and could use a flattening.
The carts are old and could use an update.
The pace of play was slower than slow, so pack your patience.
Great round at Herndon Centennial as always
Love this course, a little short but can always play from the tips. I enjoy the layout and the past of play.

Best Value in the Area
Herndon is a pretty solid course for a lower price than anywhere else in the area. I’d highly recommend it.
Herndon with some rain
While I always enjoy this course, the rain at times today (6/7/22) brought out a deficiency. No back rain flaps on carts! Had to use my towels as best I could to keep bag and clubs from getting soaked. Had an insert for an umbrella but that was too small for my golf umbrella.
Great conditions after rainy couple of days
The course was in great condition considering the amount of play and the wet weather over the previous few days. The greens were very soft and receptive. The fairways rolled very well.
Local Favorite
Best bang for your buck in the area. Course is always in good condition. Easy to walk. I’m there every Sunday morning.
