Herndon Centennial Golf Course

Course was in great condition, it was an easy course; most holes were straight with a flat green. Fairly short too, playing from the tips is roughly 6,000 yds and playing blues was closer to 5,000. The starter was your classic old grumpy man who sits in his golf cart and complains whenever you ask him anything. For price its better than most courses in the area, but I still think paying $70 is pretty ridiculous unless its a top notch course

Enjoyed the course. Tee boxes were a little worn out in some cases, but the staff seems to do a good job repairing greens and areas since it appears most players do not seem to want to fix their ball marks/divots. Round took 5 hours and I wish there was a marshal holding people accountable to playing at a reasonable pace...

Herndon Centennial was definitely a good course for the money. While not visually blowing anyone away, it was a well kept course that challenges most levels of play while still able to provide getable birdie chances. Semi-tight fairways force players to be relatively consistent off the tee but the overall short yardage of the course gives players options to club down and be more accurate. Pace of play was pretty normal for a course in Northern Virginia and I would play again in the future.

Location is a plus for me. Great over-all course including the staff. I would recommend the golf course to friends.

Course is in solid condition despite heavy play. Always a good value.

- pace of play was awful. Tees off at 7:30 and took almost 5 hours. Absurd.
