The 14th - a nice short par 3 with a tricky green. Photo submitted by GolferJake78 on 03/01/2019

The 17th - probably my favorite hole on the course. Photo submitted by GolferJake78 on 03/01/2019
Charges 82 cents for small cup of ICE
charging for a small cup of ICE 82 cents is ridiculous.
Hot day to play golf at Herndon Centennial
Love playing this course despite the humid hot weather. Fairways and greens were nice, hope players fix their divot marks on greens. Tee boxes do need some TLC. Overall, I would like to comeback and play. One more kudos, to folks managing the course, I want to state that Herndon has the best looking condition and well kept putting green in any public golf course around NOVA.
Great course
This is a wonderful course. I always enjoyed playing here. They should make more like this.
Great shape
The fairways and greens are in great shape. Bunkers could use a little more sand. Staff has always been great!
So good
It is a fun golf course that is not too difficult. The condition of the golf course is very good. I recommend coming to play during this period, it's the best you've ever been.
Short, but fun's track
Not very long even from the tips (maybe 6100?) Long hitters can get over most trouble, but still will require iron tee shots on several holes which keeps it interesting. Greens are normally pretty slow but consistent.
Overall great course for the price, however pace can be very slow.
Enjoyed the course
Nice layout. Greens were in great shape. 1sr cut of rough did need cutting but because of weather, I understand. Course allowed me to enjoy my round instead of constant challenge.
Herndon golf
Overall a good course . The pace of play was slow and no marshalls to keep things moving .
Overpriced Muni
It's just an overpriced muni. They don't even send you out with tees in your cart. It's pretty pathetic. Everything there is overpriced, not just the golf.. The only redeeming factor with this course is the course condition, which is good. Greens are a bit furry, but not too bad. I do see why a lot of golfers like the place. The course is so short that they can feel like they're hitting the ball farther than they are. I was outdriving the guy in my group with an 8 iron. It was a little silly. Anyway, if you're a short hitter and you want to feel like a legit golfer, or you have a score goal that yoiu just can't seem to hit, play this course. You'll probably score a few strokes better than you normally do and you'll feel like you have better approach distances. Everybody else should avoid this place. Overpriced course and concessions, no warm up balls, mat driving range(the range is completely pathetic), horrendous pace of play, it's just not worth spending your money on. Pay a few extra bucks and go to Stonewall. He ll, even Reston National would be preferrable to this place, and I'm no fan of Reston National.
Herndon Centennial is a nice course at a great price in NOVA
Played the course in June 2024, it’s in great shape this year. The staff is helpful and the on course restaurant Egg Karen is legit one of the best because it offers more than the usual golf course options - highly recommend the chicken and ube waffles.
Worth the money to play
Enjoyed this 71 par course. I’m still fine tuning my game and it helps with that.
