About
Located in Montpelier, Hollows Golf Club has a 27-hole layout that is considered one of the best values in the area. The holes are divided into three nines that provide three different 18-hole combinations. The Cottage, Lake, and Road nines come with enough variety to offer something for players of all skill levels from low handicappers to more experienced players. The green fees are applicable the whole day, which allows golfers to play all three courses if they have the time and the inclination. The Cottage/Road combination only has water on one hole, but it is a memorable one. The hole is Cottage's par 3 third, which is the golf course's signature. There is not only a formidable pond along the right but also an 8-foot bunker on the left. In addition to the golf courses, the Hollows also has an all-grass driving range and putting green.

Average
The conditions of the course were great overall but the tee boxes were as hard as bricks!
Great value - greens were in good shape
But fairways and tee boxes were rock hard with mostly dead grass. Very short and forgiving course, but with some sloped fairways and dog legs that add a little strategy into the mix.

This Is one of my favorite courses!
Andy and his team are the best ever!! Everyone is so friendly and they always go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy and enjoying their round of golf. The entire course is absolutely beautiful! I frequently play at this golf course because of how nice it is! The fairway is like carpet and the greens are awesome and the beauty of the course is breath taking! I highly recommend this horse to anyone wanting to play at a great course!

Nice Course
Very nice golf course.
But found out there statement of "the greens fee being good all day, so feel free to try them all" is incorrect!! If you want to play the other nine there is a fee involved. That is a VERY deceitful statement!! That is the reason I only gave them 3 stars.
I would recommend the course, but I would definitely let them know the fee is only for 18 holes!!!!

Good course, needs some improvements
The course is in good condition given the hot weather. Large patches of blooming clover in the rough that should be eradicated. Makes it very difficult to find your strayed shot, if you find it at all. Slows down the pace of play so surprised it was so prevalent. Greens: in good shape but inconsistent speed wise; most were much slower speed than practice green which was fast. Just makes for a frustrating putting day.

Perfect Day and Great Conditions
The course is in very good condition with the greens well maintained as well as the fairways . The rough is fair with some challenge but not too punitive. Traps could use more sand in them is the only area for improvement. Always friendly staff and nice people golfing there.
Good course rest of facilities need work
Course was in pretty good shape and pace was good on a perfect day for golfing. Bathrooms were not acceptable and the cart was in need of repairs. Several times it wouldn’t start until we turned it on and off or switched it into reverse
Cottage-Road
Good atmosphere and easy going country golf. Fairways a little thin. Greens slow but roll true.
