About
Located in Montpelier, Hollows Golf Club has a 27-hole layout that is considered one of the best values in the area. The holes are divided into three nines that provide three different 18-hole combinations. The Cottage, Lake, and Road nines come with enough variety to offer something for players of all skill levels from low handicappers to more experienced players. The green fees are applicable the whole day, which allows golfers to play all three courses if they have the time and the inclination. The Cottage/Road combination only has water on one hole, but it is a memorable one. The hole is Cottage's par 3 third, which is the golf course's signature. There is not only a formidable pond along the right but also an 8-foot bunker on the left. In addition to the golf courses, the Hollows also has an all-grass driving range and putting green.

Fun round
We played Cottage/Road today. Other than bunkers being solid sand, the rest of the course was great.
The course was in great shape.
Greens were in great shape! Course was in as best as I have seen it in recent visits.
Good Value
Very friendly staff. Course not really Difficult but greens were the most challenging as there were few straight puitts. Teen boxes very hard as weather had been dry. Would certainly recommend course.
Great value. Easy to get tee time
Played this course for many years. The lake 9 is the most interesting layout. The greens are solid for a public course. Glad we have this course in the area. Course has quiet peaceful surroundings.
Nice Day at The Hollows
We played the Cottage and Lakes nines with another couple that booked through GolfNow. The course is in better condition than 2-3 years ago, when multiple greens and fairways were under renovation. Fairways are in good shape, but the rough could use more attention. Greens are tricky, and hard with the recent dry weather. I landed a 175-yard tee shot 1 foot behind a middle pin on #8 of the Lakes, but the ball bounced off the green and I made bogey.
The Hollows
This was my first time at the course and I founded it to be a nice course. nice little driving range. It was crowded
so the play was a little slow but still enjoyable. Looking forwards to my next time . I shot a 94 so I look forwards to beating that score the next time.
Terrible Course
This is nothing but a backyard course. The fairways were ok at best. Off the fairways were horrible. Foot high clover and nothing but weeds and dirt. The greens had different types of grass that was not the same height in same cases.
Save your money. NOT worth half of what they charge.
Can’t believe it stays in business. The worst course I’ve ever played.
Hollows are on point
Even though the course aerated the greens 2 weeks ago, the majority of greens putted true and had a good feel to them. Only two holes were cart path only due to water retention, but the overall cut and thickness of fairways were conducive to great rolls and lays. Staff was awesome.
Good on a rainy day
Enjoyed the course, shorter course, plays well for people who are confident from the tee.
Terrible course
Course was in terrible shape, carts were dirty, and greens were in bad shape. Pace of play was the worse I have ever seen. Too many players on course.

This course is very fun
Went and played with a buddy of mine yesterday and it was a lot of fun. The fairways were in great shape along with the greens with the exception of a few. The pace of play was great, no one slow in front of us. Really well kept 27 hole course. I wish I was able to play one of them called “Lake” but it’s been closed every time I go there. Overall great and fun course. Also it’s a short course which makes it fun.
