Links at City Park Golf Course, The

Course is a fun semi-executive 9-hole course that has several par 4's and mostly par 3's. Course has several holes along the Elizabeth River that provide some scenic views.

The course was rebuilt in the past 15 years and nothing remains from the 1919 course. Greens are modern and have decent movement. Worth a play for a quick round or for people learning the game.

Course is exactly what it's supposed to be. The holes have some good variety in length and directional movement. Conditions are fair. Price is right. Very solid course for what it's meant to be.

This course is great for people new to the game. I would often find full length 18 hole courses to be a bit over my skill level when I first started to play but once I started to play at the links I started to develop my game. There are a couple of spots on the course that may need some work such as the green on number 3 but overall this course plays great. If you go after 3pm you can pay 10 dollars and play as long as you want and to me that is worth it.

This is a course to learn on. It is a very short course for long irons, but is has some challenges that make the course interesting. The staff is great, and the accessibility is fantastic for a community course. Some areas need work from the greens keepers, but overall, it is worth the money if you want to play a short course.
