Nice course for newer players
Forgiving wide fairway areas making it easier to find your balls. Friendly staff. Chill clubhouse to enjoy an after round beer and hotdog with friends.
Best Condition Yet!
This course is in the best condition I've ever seen it and the greens are perfect. Staff is friendly. They need to purchase more golf carts because there was a 30 minute wait time for carts to come in. Snack bar was not open despite it being a fully booked day. This gem of a course has been sold to a developer who has not decided yet if they will keep the golf course running. Powhatan County needs to step up and make this happen.
Fun round
Fairways need lots of water and reseeding this fall
Greens were smooth but some very slow
Hard to read between slow and fast
No big complaints as all courses in area need water

Sad to see no watering of the fairways.
It's a Drout season ahead too
Needs work
There was a temporary green on the first hole. Other than that, the greens were in good shape and running true. The fairways were another matter. They have apparently not watered the fairways regularly and, in general, the grass was sparse. The tee boxes also needed a little tender care. Usually, this course is in pretty good shape, so it was a little disappointing. The staff was very friendly, and we got a good discount through Golf Pass. Hoping the conditions improve later in the season.
Course review
The greens were punched, fairways had very little grass, and there was sand on the greens. The staff should have let me Know the course was not in good condition when I booked my play. Had I known how bad the course was, I would not have made the reservation. signed up for
Condition
The course is coming out of a hard winter and they have done a great job on tee boxes and greens. We will go there many times for 2026
Excellent Value
Greens in good shape. Layout is excellent.
Not many houses around.....park-like setting.
Not too crazy on the wallet either. Enjoy.
