Course layout is great with a variety of distances and shot shapes required. Different tee boxes so you can choose appropriate yardage and difficulty for your game. Great practice facility for putting ,chipping and lengthy shots. Plenty of bunkers in play on tee shots and approach . Wet from 5 straight days of rain so cart path only and wet bunkers. Cart path only made it a long grueling round but to be expected from rain. Back 9 in better shape than front.

This was my second time playing this course since it became 18 holes. Like the course a lot. The pro shop attendant was pretty rude, but the starter was very friendly. Though I don't like being paired with add-on players I don't know, both times I played here they were great guys who knew the course. Pace of play was slow, but that was of no fault of staff, as an unseasonal frost delay pushed morning players back two hours+. Very fun yet challenging course.

As always in very good condition, tee to green other than the sand traps.

Never could understand why such a good course had such unkept traps.

This course had a great and challenging layout. The greens are devious. The condition is great. It’s by far the best place I’ve played in Richmond that’s available. Best ratio of cost plus experience.

Today was CP only due to recent rains but as iI sometime s walk this course it was a good bit of exercise.

Arguably the best course in central Virginia. From the layout to the condition to the staff and the members everyone and everything gets an A++ this has become probably my favorite course I’ve played in Virginia.

This course is the overall best in this area. The fairways and greens are in great condition. It has concrete paths and real bathrooms. The Clubhouse has amazing food. They have state of the art golf carts, although they need to tune their GPS programming as my cart stopped saying that I was in a restricted area when I was in fact on the cart path. Very friendly and helpful staff.

No range balls included. Any course charging that amount of money should have balls on the range. Greens had hundreds of poorly repaired ball marks. Excellent layout. Tee boxes were poorly maintained.

Staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the starter asked and we OK’d him slipping a twosome, not on the tee sheet, in between us and the group in front of us. That put us back 10 min but play was also slow for the front nine.

Course layout is excellent and condition good.
