Eagles Pride Golf Course - Green/Red
About
Eagles Pride Golf Course has long been known as one of the best military courses in the country and luckily for golfers, it's open to the public. Originally opened in 1940, the course started as the 18-hole Fort Lewis Golf Course. Another nine was added in 1979 but it wasn’t until the mid-1990s that it became Eagles Pride. The three nines are called the Green, Red, and Blue, and they are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Green/Red Course starts with the newest and most challenging of the three nines. The course will test you with plenty of trees, water hazards, undulating slopes, and even the occasional blind shot. There are some tough holes but players of all skill levels could enjoy any of the nines.
Previously known as Green/Red at Fort Lewis Golf Course.

Course is good; carts are not
The course was in good condition. Play was a little slower than usual; not sure why.
Our cart died on hole 6. We called the pro shop and they said someone would be right out. Called again 15 minutes later. 30 minutes after the first call, still no cart. So I called again. 5 minutes later a second cart arrived. We received an apology for the inconvenience but no offer of a refund, free round or free range balls at our next round there.
No carts after 3 and overpaid on GN
Tee time 402 paid too much on GN as twilight started at 4 and no carts after 3 heads up, did not see that on GN.
Staff’s attitude is the worst, course is just fine
Eagle pride didn’t communicate or deal with GolfNow properly or whatever. They don’t want anyone to check out golf cart after 3pm. However, GolfNow still sell hot deal (which is what I bought) with cart included for tee time on 3:36pm on 6/23/2024. The staff was rude and insisted it’s golfnow’s problem and didn’t want us to check out carts originally, even we have paid the total amount via GolfNow, simply because they said that they have to lock all golf card up by 7:30 that day. I proposed that we will finish before that time and bring back the cars by 7:30, then he reluctantly gave us golf carts.
I highly don’t recommend this course simply because the two staff I met were rude and maybe discriminate us.
GolfNow should remove this bad partner golf course from the list
The course was busy, however kept a good pace.
Great weather, good day of golf.
Only negative is it was a Friday in the 80's and no beverage cart. :(
Nice Course. Confused and uninformative staff.
Had a 10:12 tee time. We were told while putting on the 2nd green that we needed to "Hurry Up" as we needed to be off the course by 12:00 because there was a tournament starting then. The same gentleman came by 3 more times to inform us of this.
We were never told of this when we got our tee time nor when we checked in. So much for a relaxing and enjoying day of golf.
Nice Course and layout.
Course was “okay”
Pro shop staff manners left a lot to be desired, unfriendly and rude. It is difficult to believe this person was hired to be the “face” of the golf course for customers. The golf course was okay. Given the poor customer service and better course options nearby, we won’t return to this course.
Great course
The course itself was in great shape although the greens were a little slow. The tee boxes were a tad rough but overall the course was in good shape.
Staff could use an update in courtesy
As always, the staff is generally unfriendly, and they always have a problem with GolfNow and they have no problem letting the client know their contention with GolfNow. They usually make the client feel very awkward because Eagle Pride is not managing their relationship with GolfNow. In other words, they are always complaining about GolfNow.
