Eagles Pride Golf Course - Red/Blue
About
Located just 20 minutes south of Tacoma, Eagles Pride Golf Course in Fort Lewis is one of the area's best golfing values. Originally opened as the 18-hole Fort Lewis Golf Course in 1940, it soon became known as one of the best military courses in the country but it's also open to the public. Another nine was added to the layout in 1979. The three nines, known as the Red, Blue, and Green, are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Red/Blue Course is the original layout. The classic design is player friendly but at the same time challenging with an abundance of trees lining the fairways and greens as well as tricky elevation changes that make it tough to find a flat lie. Each hole offers plenty of variety.
Previously known as Red/Blue at Fort Lewis Golf Course.

Outstanding hidden gem!
This hidden gem is a true delight if you like tree lined, classic parkland courses. The Red nine is one of the best 9 hole layouts in Pierce county PERIOD!!! The Blue nine is kind of granola but the over all experience is really solid. Greens are in great shape.
Do yourself a favor and try this track. You won't be disappointed.
Good Golf
The place is awesome, challenging layout, peaceful, beautiful course 👍
Well maintained course
The course was in great condition even with the weather being a little wet. Staff was friendly and accommodating during check in. Must try this course one and see for yourself.
Good Golf
Place is awesome, can't complain about anything, ground crew's got it together 👍
Where have you been my whole life?
Have tried to play here many times but never worked out or I. put other courses ahead of it. That was a mistake.
I normally play The Home Course, North Shore, Riverbend, Chambers. This course will go into the rotation for sure.
I would say this is much like North Shore, but much, much nicer in terms of condition. The trees are as mature as any PNW course. But the fairways are more fair. The greens aren't huge..and they aren't clowny. They are challenging and fair.
If Chambers and The Home Course are known as drier courses, this is right up there. It isn't as dry as those two, but it is much drier than North Shore or Riverbend.
Overall, we were pleasantly surprised, and had decided by our 4th hole that we would be back again.
Good Golf
This place is awesome, one of my favorites, winter course is a little different, but once you get your bearing, you'll want to go around again 😉
Happy with my tee time!
The winter course with these wet conditions was in good shape!
Fun Day for Golf
Played the Red and Blue courses at Eagles Pride Golf Course yesterday with three of my Brothers. So glad that we also spent the cost for Carts. This is a very long course, even if you play from the Senior tee boxes. I wish that they still offered the great deals for golf of a decade ago. Then for $30.00 each you got a Cart, 18 holes and Lunch. Not anymore... Now it's the same cost to Walk 18 holes and extra cost for Carts and No Lunch. That's the cost of a new roof for the beautiful Clubhouse and remodeling in the restaurant.
