Three Rivers Is One Of Best Courses In Portland Area!!!
I didn't know what to expect of this course and usually I go to Camas Meadows in Camas, Wa or Heron Lakes in Portland, Or but I have to say as much as I like those courses, I think Three Rivers is better than both of those courses. The layout and and how well they maintain this course and foot traffic on the greens are barely noticeable. Greens are in great shape. I was able to walk 18 holes and finish in 3 hours and 15 minutes with groups ahead of me. Definitely would recommend this course!
We're glad you had a great golfing experience with us!
Thank you for the excellent 5-star rating!
Great condition and lots of pride of ownership
With all the rain we got the course still play great, balls stay clean without any mud on them it’s amazing. Greens were recently aerated so did not roll true but otherwise everything is green and lush, ball washers were either new or meticulously well kept so were the towels, there are lots of pride in upkeeps of the facility, we really appreciate that and we had a great time, highly recommended!
A great day of golf
Pouring down rain, temps in the 50’s, gear soaked........., but still a great day of golf!
Thank you!
GOOD DAY TO PLAY GOLF
IT DID'NT RAIN BUT IT WAS A LITTLE WINDY & COOL. HAD A GOOD TIME FOR 1st ROUND OF YEAR. GREENS WERE A BIT FAST & THE FAIRWAYS WERE HARD. IT HAD NOT RAINED FOR DAYS AND IT SHOWED.
Trees
The course was good. Had a great time, but there are a lot of trees with dents in them from my errant shots.
We're happy to learn you had a great round of golf with us! Be sure to book your next round for the season soon.
Frozen
The course was in good condition. The ground was frozen, so we had a difficult time inserting a tee. At least if you hit into a water hazard the ball would bounce out. Had a good time. Will definitely play there again.
Fall Golf
The course is still in good shape. The greens were plugged about 10 days ago but greens were ok, better than I expected. The course continues to get better and the staff is always fun and friendly.
Very good course
In my opinion, Three Rivers is the best year round course in our area. One of my favorites.
Fairways in bad shape
I don't know what course these other people are playing but it can't be the same one I have been playing all year. The fairways on this course are atrocious. There are vast areas of dead and dying grass on almost every fairway. Even the rough seems to be dying. A bad lie is the norm. To be fair the greens while a little hard are in quite good shape with very few ball marks.
Hard ground
The greens were fast and I thought I would have dimpled the ground just a bit on one of the greens but there was nothing. Fast greens! The fairways were dried out, but overall it was a decent course.
Pace of play
Played here for 20+ years. PACE OF PLAY is biggest detriment to this course. Locals are slow, poor, bad etiquette players. For late August corse in decent shape. Greens in great shape. Fortunately course empty. Played in 3.5 hrs-walking. Otherwise it’s a 4.5 hr round. Thank the golf GODS
Thanks for the great review!
