Nice way to spend a Sunday
Pace of play was great and the course was in great shape. It seems like a lot of work has been done to the course and greens over the last year and it is one of best kept up courses in the area. Staff was friendly, I appreciate that as well.
Always in great shape, best wet condition course in area.
Hate dang smokers cigarette butts though..
Friendliest and driest course
They’ve made excellent progress in getting the course in shape
Beautiful and no wind.
Where was everyone, nobody pushed us. It’s worth the drive. A+
Great ciorse and staff!
Always a great experience! The customer is always first with the staff. I’m hooked!
Closed The Front 9 / Last Minute Decision to Aerate Greens?
Our group showed up to play our Golf Now Tee Time only to find out their groundskeeper made a last minute decision to Aerate the front 9 Greens that morning? After talking with the staff at 3 Rivers I learned that they were not happy with Golf Now over the way T Times were being Booked.
Disorganization
Golf here regularly during the winter, greens roll well and mud is at the minimum. Show up and the front nine was closed for aeration, no signs or no notification when the tee time was made. I drive 50 miles to play here. My alternative winter course is 30 miles closer to home which would have been my choice if I knew that nine of the holes were closed. Employees seemed confused and acted like the grounds crew does what it pleases without coordination with the rest of the staff.
Great local course
Course is in good shape. Grass is coming in nicely. The only problem is the groundskeeper was mowing in front of us for the first 3 holes and held up the play. Seldom got out of the middle of the fairway to let us play thru. Thankfully we never had a problem after that. This course needs the occasional marshal to speed up play but this has been a continuing problem here. You get used to it I guess.
Excellent
I have played this course many times, I have to drive 60 miles to get there, but It is worth the drive.
Great course and friendly staff!
I love this course! The golf, the clubhouse, the staff..... always a great experience. I leave the course, anxiously awaiting my next trip there. I can’t express in words how much you’ll enjoy the experience.
Great Wet Weather Course
This is THE course to play in the winter here in the northwest. Even in the dead of winter when it's been raining, this course is hardly affected. I've never played here when they haven't allowed carts ON THE COURSE, not just on the cart paths.
The course is challenging but not overly so.
Great local course
3 Rivers is a very nice local course. Reasonable price, good layout, and just difficult enough to challenge most players. Many older trees have been removed recently. Hopefully they will be replaced.
Play Golf on Mt St Helens!
This Kelso, WA course is about an hour out of Portland, OR. It is worth the drive, especially this time of year when many courses in the Pacific NW are pretty muddy. Three Rivers was built in 1983 from porous volcanic material dredged out of the Cowlitz River after the 1980 eruption of Mt St Helens; as a consequence the course drains well and the winter conditions are good. It is a low key course, operated by the local Elks club, has reasonable rates, a decent club house, and friendly staff. I've played several times, always paired up with locals, often veterans, all friendly, welcoming people. I've never eaten at the restaurant so can't comment on the food. Great value and worth the drive for a winter round of golf.
the course is in excellent shape in every aspect and want to play more offen,,, though little far from home....
off site amenities, however, not so great..
hope tje proshop/club house maintain restaurant or sth..
again,, excellent course and staff members..
