About
Allenmore Golf Course is located in the heart of Tacoma but thanks to the beautiful setting with Mt. Rainier serving as a backdrop, it feels like it's actually miles from the city. The layout is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees and though it's not particularly long, it offers plenty of variety. It's a course where you'll have to use every club in your bag. Trouble lurks at almost every turn in the form of doglegs, trees, or out-of-bounds. Water hazards also come into play. With uphill, sidehill, and downhill lies, the course is never boring and while there are some challenging holes, there are also birdie opportunities if you play strategically. In addition to the golf course, Allenmore also has a short-iron driving range and a practice facility with chipping and putting greens.

Best in Tacoma area
Greens are fast and in great shape. Fairways are the same. Great value as well
Not bad
For this time of year Course was pretty dry minus a few areas and greens were not in bad shape minus some that were cratered with unrepaired ball marks. Was overall good round.
Good course but,
They allow 5somes, which is awful!
Back 9 is always extremely slow

Always fun
Course conditions excellent as usual. Staff does a great job keeping the course in shape. Pace of play was a tad slow but still an enjoyable day.
Really nice greens
The course is in great shape for having just snowed last week. Greens are beautiful, fast, and responsive, and roll true. Couldn't believe how nice they were for this time of year.
Allenmore
Not long
, good greens. Tree lined fairways on most holes. Key is being straight on the tee box. Your driver is not needed on every hole.
Beautiful Fall day
The course was in great shape. Had a wonderful time even if it was cold and a few wind gusts from time to time. Amazing how many people were out golfing on a Wednesday.
Tacoma
Nice coarse. Some tight fairways. Greens are well kept.
Nice coarse to walk or cart.
Disorganized pro shop
Had an early tee time, they tried to put me into a fivesome. I declined and had to wait an hour to go out. I was told if I did not like it they would refund my money. During my hour wait a twosome went out and a threesome. Do not think I will return to Allenmore. Not a very professional atmosphere. Course was fine.
