About
Allenmore Golf Course is located in the heart of Tacoma but thanks to the beautiful setting with Mt. Rainier serving as a backdrop, it feels like it's actually miles from the city. The layout is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees and though it's not particularly long, it offers plenty of variety. It's a course where you'll have to use every club in your bag. Trouble lurks at almost every turn in the form of doglegs, trees, or out-of-bounds. Water hazards also come into play. With uphill, sidehill, and downhill lies, the course is never boring and while there are some challenging holes, there are also birdie opportunities if you play strategically. In addition to the golf course, Allenmore also has a short-iron driving range and a practice facility with chipping and putting greens.

Pace
This course is wonderful to play if you are not waiting after each shot 15 to 20 min. Each shot do not play on a Sunday apparently the staff had no control of the course no Marshall till 3pm and could not help the situation we played as a 5some just to keep the pace feeling normal. The greens were fantastic just really slow had a 5 hr round
The course has good features and lots of fun.
I would like to recommend this course the players who wand enjoy golf with their good friends.
A good golf course
The course was in great shape, very few under repair areas. Play was a little slow due to a youth tournament.
Never disappointing
This course always is in good shape. Very few dry spots, with the weather we have had. Staff does a great job with the greens.
SLOW PLAY
Two holes behind by the fifth hole!! Groups waiting for a five some, 4 hours to the 13th hole no marshal to make them pick up to catch up , the putting green was sandy so I ask the guy at the counter, are the greens on the course sanded? He said no just the putting green (he lied) all greens were sanded!! If he had told me the truth I wouldn’t even played,sanded greens in middle of July??? My assment ,,poor course management!!! I’ve been playing there for years used to be a member not sure what or who happen there but they need a lesson in golf management

Allenmore G.C. is an excellent Golf course.
The layout is great and there are challenges along the 18 Holes.
You would enjoy a good round of Golf should you decide to play there.

Fun course, terrible restaurant staff
Golf course and golf staff are terrific. The issues we had were with the turn food shack which was VERY slow and the guy bar tender was just absolutely rude and clueless. The restaurant better get better staff or it'll be closed for the 3rd time in a year.
Tournaments
A Jr. Tournament killed the pace of play. But nice track and well kept greens
Friendly course
We had a great game. Very busy, however we easily played right along, no waiting.
Nice set up and will play again.
