Allenmore Golf Course
About
Allenmore Golf Course is located in the heart of Tacoma but thanks to the beautiful setting with Mt. Rainier serving as a backdrop, it feels like it's actually miles from the city. The layout is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees and though it's not particularly long, it offers plenty of variety. It's a course where you'll have to use every club in your bag. Trouble lurks at almost every turn in the form of doglegs, trees, or out-of-bounds. Water hazards also come into play. With uphill, sidehill, and downhill lies, the course is never boring and while there are some challenging holes, there are also birdie opportunities if you play strategically. In addition to the golf course, Allenmore also has a short-iron driving range and a practice facility with chipping and putting greens.

Slow but still fun
Took the old man out for a round on Father's Day so needless to say, it was a very slow round. Took about 5-1/2 hours to get through but it was a beautiful day out so it just gave us more time to drink a few beers and chat. Got a deal on Groupon so we ended up paying about $40/ea with cart. The course was in great shape but we all had trouble with the greens for the first few holes (a bit fast and bumpy in areas).
The clubhouse staff were friendly and the bartender made us a couple great bloody mary's so we were happy with off course amenities. The cart girl was great but she was busy so we only saw her twice.
Super golf day
Course was in great shape. Play was delayed at start because some beginers held up play. Marshal cleared that up and we had a great day at the course. 5 hour round on a gorgeous saturday afternoon. Prime rib dinner in tha lounge was a real treat!
Greens were Sweet ! Alot of fun
Scored on Golf Now ...2 pm
Course is in great shape . Played the course at lease 20 + times and greens were rolling quite nicely today . Summer time conditions and course played great .
Golf
Course was in great condition. Only down side is it is very short, about 1,000 or more yards shorter than most courses
Perfect For Any Golfer
Good course with some challenging slopes and a couple bunkers protecting close to the pin shots. After that first bogey someone will surely drive around with refreshments, mainly beer to help you shake it off for the next hole.
Beautiful Course
Beautiful day for a round of golf! Greens were fast but well maintained! Recommend for a nice weekend trip to the course.
Allenmore Golf Course is beautiful.
The course was in nice shape!! The pace of play was excellent for a holiday weekend. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only problem we had was the additional taxes and entertainment fee that was due in addition to what GolfNow said was due at the course. I understand that it says tax is not included but $29 in tax for a foursome
Seems a little much. GolfNow needs to make people aware that this happens. First time I’ve ever had this problem.
No Course Management
Staff were very friendly! Unfortunately that’s where the good news ends. Pace of play was horrible and when a call was placed to the clubhouse to ask for a course Marshall we eventually saw somebody with a red flag driving around but conditions did not change. Imagine playing behind a threesome that let a foursome play through and in less the nine holes that foursome was two holes ahead of the threesome and we were stuck behind that threesome. Made for a 4 1/2 hour round and lots of frustration.
Course in very good condition
Very accommodating for all including those with disabilities, seniors and for average to better players.
Fun Outing
Played with two friends on a GolfNow hot deal. Well worth the money, and the course was in great shape.
Fast greens
The course is in great condition, greens are in great shape, a little disappointed with the service at the restaurant.
Great weather
Fast greens, dried out fairways, warm weather, great golf day!
Challenged myself
Played the blue tees during this round and it seemed like most of the tees were in the furthest spot possible. But still had a good time.
