About
Allenmore Golf Course is located in the heart of Tacoma but thanks to the beautiful setting with Mt. Rainier serving as a backdrop, it feels like it's actually miles from the city. The layout is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees and though it's not particularly long, it offers plenty of variety. It's a course where you'll have to use every club in your bag. Trouble lurks at almost every turn in the form of doglegs, trees, or out-of-bounds. Water hazards also come into play. With uphill, sidehill, and downhill lies, the course is never boring and while there are some challenging holes, there are also birdie opportunities if you play strategically. In addition to the golf course, Allenmore also has a short-iron driving range and a practice facility with chipping and putting greens.

The fairways were pretty wet with all of the rain we have been having over the past few weeks. So soggy ground is to be expected. HOWEVER, tip of the cap the grounds keeper on the greens. I have never putted on such quick and smooth greens at Allenmore. WELL DONE!!!!!

Fall golf is here
Had a foggy start but the sun eventually came out. Course a little wet in places but in good shape overall. Greens nice. Gotta play it before the winter misery sets in!

Great little track
Amazing greens. Fast, pure, and challenging. Not super tough layout wise. Not super tight, some off camber fairways. Great track for the price point with really nice new electric carts.

Nice course worth playing
Nice course and well maintained. Greens were fast and run true. Some tight fairways with lots of trees. Hole #4 is unusual, play to the left side because the entire fairway slopes to the right. Worth playing if you're in the area.
