Lake Spanaway Golf Course

OK Practice Facility with a driving range (low compression balls), chipping green, and large putting green.

At this time, the course had soft pan (like hitting out of fairway sand-traps) at many places in the fairway where the grass is cut so short that there is none, requires spot-on ball striking with irons, tougher for iron play, so bring your fairway wood type clubs. The greens were very recently punched, so not perfectly mowed, but still fairly true, just slow in some places. Some tee boxes are a little lumpy and not flat (maybe on purpose).

Still, it's a good challenge for our golfing skills, a great and fun course to play!!

Beautiful day, course in good shape and pace of play acceptable.

We were the second group out this morning and had two very fast ladies in front of us, whom we never saw after the first hole.

We had a great round in 3.5 hours, outstanding.

We had an 8:24 tee time and all went well. Good conditions all around.

The greens were in good shape, the course played well, but the pace of play was slower than it should have been.

Lake Spanaway Golf Course is a great asset to this community. The greens roll perfectly.

For a round to take five hours is ridiculous. There was a marshall out there so I don't know what the answer is.

We had an early tee time and enjoyed a very pleasant round. No delays, nor did we create any...

Took 30mins to check in, with one register open and long line.. so not being able to warm up before my round....really sucked

Course is in outstanding shape. Played in the afternoon after a tournament so the pin location was really tough.

I must be a fair weather golfer, because the rain today was very uncomfortable for me.

I should have canceled the round, and did leave after 9 holes.

We had a 6:40 tee time and the course was quiet.

Obviously, we saw that it was getting busy, but we went at a great pace.

I hope that through Oof Now we’ll be able to get these tee times at a reasonable price, so we can play weekly.

The course was crowded, at least the foursomes ahead of us played like it was.

Otherwise all went wel and the 19th hole was a looked forward too pleasure.

The weather was perfect. The course was in great shape. The pace of play was held up by a foursome two groups ahead of us.

Unfortunately, the “marshal” rides around in his cart but doesn’t do anything I could figure out. We mentioned that there was a huge gap without players two groups ahead of us, but he smiled and rode on.....oh well!!

I don’t think I could ever complain about this course. Everything about it is amazing. Always up kept and perfect conditions

Great day for golf!!

We started off great. On the first nine we got through in good shape, but the back nine was tied up all the way around creating quite lengthy delays

Thanks to Golf Now, or the reduced rates, we were able to afford to play at Lake Spanaway again.

It was enjoyable, and we (3) were well pleased.

Unfortunately, since then we have not been able to obtain the same reduced rate so we are waiting for better times.

Was impressed with the staff freindliness and the conditions of the greens, fast and firm! Really love the layout and it's over 7000 yards from the black tees so should keep even the bigger hitters happy. Favorite hole was the par 3 7th? an elevated tee to a large green. The 1950's-60's clubhouse and out-house buildings add a sence of a different era. The huge Fir trees are a bonus and the golf history in the clubhouse (Ryan Moore winning p-sound Am) is cool to look at (history of clubs/balls)

The course is looking beautiful! It’s alway nice but wow right now they are doing an outstanding job on making the course look amazing! Hands down best course around! Pace of play was slow and lots of waiting but that’s hit and miss on the daily. Overall excellent day on the course
