Lewis River Golf Course

I picked a great day of weather to drive up to Lewis River GC. The course was in very good condition for the end of February and the weather was outstanding. I have enjoyed playing this course for years. with the front nine playing easier than the back. Greens were in good shape as were the bunkers. I've got to get back up there again soon. I want another shot at #12 the 600yd par 5.

This course is amazing if you are looking for a great day outside, but difficult if you like to hit hard but not that straight!

There was a light rain falling on a Sunday morning when we played this course. I made a tee time on line and we got off on time. The course absorbed the moisture well. The front nine wasn't too interesting until about the 6th hole and after that there were a lot of good holes including a 608 yard par 5. Good greens & bunkers, consistent. I would recommend this course to anyone.

Beautiful day, beautiful course. Played by myself, walking. Cart twosome ahead, no one behind. Played two balls most of the day. Had a great time. Would have preferred some playing partners to get some local knowledge, but oh well.

Third time in recent weeks and third time we show up and there is a tournament. Nothing noted on the web site. And this last time golfers were rude and inconsiderate of other players. Slow pace hitting balls in to you. Shame used to be a nice place to golf but the players lately don’t seem to care.

Oh well there’s other places to play. Probably won’t play he again soon or may not at all.

Good course. Greens are fast and pin position tough. Overall enjoyed playing the course. Would play again

I used Golf Now to get a good rate and was hooked up with some nice folks for a pleasant round. Course was in good shape with some dry green issues. Great day

Consistently impressed by the time and effort the staff puts in to keep the course in such good condition. Staff is friendly, course was in great shape as always. Can't wait for the next round!

Weather was great and the coarse was in good shape. Little breezy, but just enough to make it comfortable with the warm weather. Pace of play was better than normal. We walked and finished our round right at 4 hours. For a Sunday that was great! The young lady and gentleman that checked us in were great and friendly. Cart girl out on the golf coarse on a Sunday was great as well. She came around multiple times. We had a wonderful day.

Unfortunately I golfed on a day they had 2 TOURNAMENTS so I had to wait at many holes throwing off my rhythm, it took 4.5 hrs to complete the round, and should have taken 3.5 hrs

Course was in great shape. Fairways were dry and firm. Greens were soft. Green speed was average.

6 hour round; waiting on every shot, every hole. Course is in terrible condition; fairways uneven with bare patches, bunkers unraked, greens were stupid slow and bumpy with ball marks everywhere. Wasted our good money today.

Will not return to Lewis River anytime soon.

This course is in a great location as far as being in nature.

The course held up well through the winter and is in great early spring condition!
