Located just 45 minutes southwest of Tacoma, Tahoma Valley Golf Course has garnered a reputation for being the driest course in the Puget Sound. The course boasts well manicured greens that putt fast and true. The greens showcase the best of the Northwest's undulating, bump-and-run golf. Its location provides every hole with a stunning view of Mount Rainier. Just shy of 6,000 yards from the back tees, it's not an especially long layout but it is narrow enough to present a challenge. The wide fairways are forgiving, making it player friendly enough for beginners, and there are enough challenges to please high handicappers as well. With an abundance of mature trees throughout, Tahoma Valley Golf Course demands accuracy. The par 3s are particularly memorable for both their views and level of difficulty.

Pros: Decent price, solid restaurant.
Cons: Allowed fivesomes, no marshall, tee boxes small and torn up, lots of large clumps of freshly cut grass all over and 4 hour 45 minute round on a Friday morning at 9:45.
Overall a very disappointing experience. Definitely no country club vibe or level of service.
No need to return to this venue.
Terrible Course.
The price to golf at this course is ridiculous considering the course is very bland. The tee times are much too close together and the course conditions are absolutely terrible. The fairways are poorly maintained and the fact that you end up paying the same amount as other courses that are leagues above is insane. Save your money and do not play here.

The customer service was outrageously disrespectful. Mean guys In the pro shop and I do not recommend bringing kids.
Back and Forth Cow Pasture Course
Easy to walk, not worth regular price. Glad I only paid $16 on Golf Now! 17 and 18 tee boxes are next to each other. You tee off on 17 and 18 at the same time then walk from 17 green out onto 18 fairway to your drive. Very "funky"! Played it for the 1st and only time!
