About
Located just 45 minutes southwest of Tacoma, Tahoma Valley Golf Course has garnered a reputation for being the driest course in the Puget Sound. The course boasts well manicured greens that putt fast and true. The greens showcase the best of the Northwest's undulating, bump-and-run golf. Its location provides every hole with a stunning view of Mount Rainier. Just shy of 6,000 yards from the back tees, it's not an especially long layout but it is narrow enough to present a challenge. The wide fairways are forgiving, making it player friendly enough for beginners, and there are enough challenges to please high handicappers as well. With an abundance of mature trees throughout, Tahoma Valley Golf Course demands accuracy. The par 3s are particularly memorable for both their views and level of difficulty.

Back and Forth Cow Pasture Course
Easy to walk, not worth regular price. Glad I only paid $16 on Golf Now! 17 and 18 tee boxes are next to each other. You tee off on 17 and 18 at the same time then walk from 17 green out onto 18 fairway to your drive. Very "funky"! Played it for the 1st and only time!
Holes 17 & 18
I miss the old layout. I don’t like the fact that the 17th & 18th tee boxes are right next to each other, and that you have to walk or drive all the way back. Unless there are no golfers in front of you, and can then hit both tee shots and be able to leave your clubs on the side of the 18th fairway.
Nice course
Love playing this course, no sand or water but other hazards. I would give this a 5 but, first time I played was an 8 tee time and second 9:04. Both time the greens had not been swept, so putting was a nightmare.
Very cool place to play. Great value.
Friendly staff and the condition of the course is pretty good. From tee box to the green. Will definitely come back and play this course again.
Very pleasant
Good course, greens were very sandy, some “ burn” spots around some the greens. Given the heat this year, it was good
Great Family Atmosphere
We love playing this course, our only issue is they have no marshal. There was a fivesome in front of us and one behind us. It took almost five hours to play and would have been worse but we skipped a hole and went ahead of the fivesome. The poor guy in the pro shop was all alone doing his best to keep people moving off the first tee, while also checking people in, staging carts and answering the phone. He was great considering how busy it was and definitely could have used some help. I like this course and we will play again. Hopefully they can find more help.
Good course for beginners
I took my wife and two sons for family outing.
I paid $16/ person not too bad for a hot deal.
The weather was raining on and off throughout the day. Certain tee boxes wasn’t well drained. The greens was not too bad. Great value for the green fees.
Great value. Simple fairway but challenging green.
I booked the tt. But was not able to play due illness. 3 of my friend played. They told me the course put the 4th in our group. And told them that I can get money back. Just let you know if I can get it back some how
