Great Day
Nice course. A moderate challenge with some tougher, "target golf" holes. Excellent condition tee to green. Pro shop staff were super friendly and very helpful. Beverage cart staff were always available. Only knock would be the food offerings are a bit basic. We really had a great day!
Good Parkland Course
Enjoyed playing a traditional parkland course. Reid had some water, trees, hills, good greens to make the course challenging.
Great track
I love this beautifully kept muni. A real treasure.
This is a hidden gem in the Fox Valley!
Reid Golf course is a great value for the money - the staff is very friendly and since the renovation the course has beautiful water holes and fountains. It is reasonably priced and there are many leagues to join for both men and women - and couples. It is a 5 minute drive from my house in south east Appleton and I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful course to play on every week.
Amazing value
The course was in excellent condition. Greens were perfect and quick. Fairways were like carpet. Nice variety of holes. Front 9 was fairly easy. Back nine a bit more challenging. For the money, this course is an unbelievable value. Three nice practice greens. Driving range is irons only.
Well maintained course
Staff is great as always, greens and fairways are maintained and consistent.
Great Value
Reid golf course is a great value. In this day and age how a course can offer such quality for such a low price is amazing. The groundskeeper has this course in great condition. Greens, tees, fairways -- all near perfect. Sand is groomed. You can find your ball in the rough and the trees are trimmed to give you a chance to recover. I also like the way that the hole locations are noted as front, middle or back on the scorecard. Reid has big greens and this is very helpful. I have played many courses in Wisconsin, Michigan and Florida and this is my favorite. Don't let the secret out.
