Great For Beginners
I wouldn’t recommend this course to someone who is trying to play an extremely serious round of golf. It’s a laid back course that typically seems to host lower skilled players.
I feel a lot more comfortable here with my lower skill here

Nice Municipal Course & Convenient With Plenty Of Challenges
Nice Municipal Golf Course that is well run and taken care of consistently and nicely. It’s a convenient course to play on near Eastside of central Appleton. It’s a good course of play for any age or skill level of golfer, female or male! The back nine, especially hole #12, provide enough challenge to make the course challenging and the golfer humble!! As individuals and as a couple we enjoy playing Reid CC and will keep coming back again and again in hopes of mastering it!! A fine recreational amenity for Appleton and the area!
Very NICE MUNI!
This is a great little course to play if you want to stay close to town and don't have 5 hours to spare. The pace is usually very good. It is rare that you need more than 4 hours for 18 holes. The people are generally friendly and the conditions are excellent for a public facility!
There have been some recent changes involving ponds that make the lay-out even better. The club-house has everything you need, and they offer instruction at all levels. The resident professional, Brian, does an especially great job keeping it all running smooth!

We had the very BEST day golfing at Reid. The course is outstanding. We booked on line; that was easy and very reasonable. We had fun. It wasn’t super busy at mid day and felt very comfortable golfing. The other golfers were friendly. staff were very helpful. It was. PERFECT day.
