Good course, but double charged for range balls
Good course and good value but pro shop staff wouldn’t believe I prepaid GolfNow for range balls and insisted I pay again. Therefore, was charged twice (as evidenced by credit card activity). Just surprised they would treat a customer like that. Otherwise, a good experience.
Nice course
This is the second time I’ve played this course. I like it because it is forgiving of an intermediate player.
Great track!
Besides fuzzy greens, which I would contribute to the amount of rain SE wisconsin got over the weekend, it was in great shape! Good course for beginners and good players! Highly recommend playing here! The value was great for the course!
Ok course, terrible service, not worth the price.
This is the little course that couldn't. Its an older course that expanded, but it can be confusing to follow. The starter on a power trip was complaining that the twosome we were paired with was on the tee and we needed to hurry (we were 15 mins before our estalished tee time). Then our cart broke down and they had to send a replacement on the third hole. As a group, we made the best of it.
By the time we made the turn, rhe mood was good and the got destroyed as we were getting a braut and drinks. It was highly obvious that the waitress wenr out of her way not to serve one of the group. This caused a lot of apologies and the play was sour for a while until the obvious anger calmed a bit.
For a couse that lives to charge above its caliber and then fall below that, save your money and go elsewhere. I know I will and that I will never step foot on that couse again.
Grateful to find such a nice local course
We just moved up here from the Chicago area and a lot of people recommended this course. It’s only about 10 minutes away from our home. It’s a really beautiful, nicely maintained and occasionally challenging course. The conditions were immaculate and the greens in great shape. Beautiful rolling hills and native plants around the tee boxes and greens. Very few forced carries. I’ve read comments about Bob, the older gentleman who checks you in. He may be a little bit taciturn, but certainly not rude. He does try to keep things moving and enforces the tee times. But as a result, we finished on time and on pace.
The Grump in the Clubhouse
The older man in the clubhouse is the reason we dread playing Delbrook. We got grief for booking through GolfNow and were told we couldn’t tee off early for our 8:18 am tee time (which we didn’t have an issue with). But then at 8:10 we are getting told we are on the tee and needed to hustle up and get going. We were paired up with a beginner player when a gentleman and his young son went off near us and no one exercised any common sense to pair them up together instead. Please tell that a-hole that he needs some bedside manner and the clubhouse needs to use some common sense.
Great place
First time at dellbrook golf club! It was a great course love the 3, 9 hole courses greens were good. Would definitely come here again
Solid course
Basic layout. Not too much sand or water. Greens were smalll. Some hiles were tight. LONG par 5 almost 600 yards. Three 9 hole courses. Driving range and small putting green. Chris the Head Pro was helpful with an issue with Golf Now. Please be aware if you cancel a tee time using a HOT Deal, you will NOT get your money back. Instead they issue you a credir for another tee time. That is just plain crap. After I use that credit I will never get a HOT DEAL again!
"Sockgame " was the cart girl, she was nice.
Great pace of play, under 4:30 on a Saturday AM. Impressive.
