About
Country Club Estates Golf Course in Fontana is a nine-hole course spread across gently rolling hills. The layout is player friendly enough for beginners and for scratch golfers it's great for a quick round. It can be played in less than two hours. The golf course is wide open, offering beautiful vistas of the Lake Geneva area. It may not be long but it's good practice if you're looking to work on your short game. Proper club selection is the key to scoring well on this course rather than being able to hit long. You'll come across a few blind approaches and the occasional bunker, but it's nothing over difficult. Country Club Estates Golf Course's third hole runs alongside a river and you may catch a glimpse of some wildlife -- including deer and heron -- coming out for a drink of water.

Great condition
The course was in great condition. Tee's were fast but great shape. Fairways were very good. Couple blind spots but not a big deal if not crowded. I think the next hole signage should be more visible but I was able to find my way around. Leaves could be blown away from fairways and greens but mother nature gave me a great morning for golf so I can deal with it. I was the 3rd golfer out so it was empty and pace of play was great. Overall really nice. I will be back.
Covid so can't give honest rating for amenities.
Bold Greens perfectly located over the hilly terain
One of my favorite Tom Bendelow courses. The greens are built-up and bold and appear to not have been tampered with. The only negative is that it is only 9 holes - if it was 18 it would be much more well known. A must play if in the area.
Very Well Kept Course
It was the perfect Course for my family with something for everyone. We are new to the area and want a challenging course, but still not taxing. Very well maintained course. Thank you, we had a great time.
Really enjoyed the round
can't beat the play for the price. Could do without the people playing music while on the course.

Great little 9 hole course in Fontana. Greens were in superb condition. I used nay 3 hybrid off most of the tee boxes. There were a couple of holes i would have hit driver, but they were blind shots over trees and it was my first time playing, if you are doing a quick trip up to Lake Geneva, I would recommend playing this course, Worth the money. Joaann and Scott were really nice and friendly,
GOLFNOW APP
The course is OK but I do not like the GOLFNOW APP for making reservations. I accidentally make a reservation for the wrong day and could not get anyone at the course or anyone at GolfNow to refund my money or issue a credit. There seems to be no forgiveness for an honest mistake. Lost money using the GolfNow app. I don't recommend it.
Fabulous course
Love this course. Unfortunately, today my twosome was behind a septuagenarian foursome of walkers who wouldn’t let us play through. Waited on every shot on every hole.

Great Shape
Haven't played this course in over 25 years and it is a night and day difference. Course was in great shape, challenging, not crowded and cold drinks at the end. Nice way to get in some swings and not crush your wallet.

Nice 9, great pace
Nice little 9 hole layout. Pace of play was great and it was in pretty good shape considering the rain we’ve been dealing with.
