Coachman's Golf Resort - Red/White
About
Located just southeast of Madison, Coachman's Golf Club boasts 27 holes of golf that were carefully sculpted from the wooded hills of southern Wisconsin. The holes make up three nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. Each course has a unique character, but they were all designed with players of all skill levels in mind. The golf courses are challenging but they will appeal to low and high handicappers alike. The Red/White combination was the first 18-hole course at Coachman's, with the Red nine built in 1968 and joined by the White two years later. Stately oaks and willow trees accent the course, demanding accuracy while also providing scenery. Challenging water hazards also come into play on several holes. In addition to the three golf courses, Coachman's also offers a driving range, putting green, and chipping area.

A "go to" course
Coachman's is a course that has a nice mix of degree of difficulty holes for the beginner and intermdiate golfers. When I head out to golf alone, I'm happy that other golfers are friendly, sometimes inviting me to continue with their group. It's a comfortable course. Sure, it won't be chosen for a PGA tournament, but the pricing isn't going to break the bank and it's fun play. The general condition of the course is good.
Memorial Day
I golfed at Coachman's on memorial day with a friend of mine. Things overall were good. As with every business, they seem to be suffering with an understaffed team. The other thing that was very noticeable, there weren't enough carts for people checking in. We teed off maybe 15 mins late, not the end of the world. I guess I figured they may have overbooked the day. Like I said, overall it was good, I will golf there again. Just not on the holiday of a 3 day weekend.
Early in year
Golfed in early April, course was ok for that early in the year. Fairways were pretty long compared to pretty much every course I've played. Overall it's a nice course for the price and will most likely be back later in the year.
Blue and Red
Play was pretty slow, really needed some water, drink gal saw her once in 18 holes. Tee boxes in rough shape. STAFF WERE GREAT.
Loved the Course Exceeded Expectations
For the price I was skeptical of how nice the course was but it was great. I played 72 holes here in 2 days. It was well taken care of. Pace was great. Highly recommend for all golfers.
