Great Course to Challenge Yourself
I have been playing on this course over the last few years and I really, really enjoy it. Hole #1 is difficult to get a Birdie, and Hole #2 is also difficult to get a Birdie. Hole #11 is the most challenging, but a fun one nonetheless. I love playing here. The staff, Ian and Austin, are very friendly!

Nice course always great shape. Pace of play was a little slow at times but played through and picked up.

Here's what is not great
While there was a rain delay the actual time on the course was 5:20!!!! That is with groups quitting after an hour delay.
The bunkers are pretty bad , rocks and muddy
Course conditions pretty good , greens a little slow
Enforce a dress code policy ! Golfers in gym shorts and tee shirts and after the rain delay guys golfing without shirts
The group in front of us played the back tees and hit ground balls for 18 holes
Never cared they were 2 holes behind by the 5th hole
Need someone to police pace of play
Oak Grove has Championship caliber qualities
Outstanding layout and design definitely a test of your skills. Unfortunately, the range was closed during the morning before my round to pick up balls which I thought was interesting. Course needs a touch of love, but still very enjoyable.
Great course
We play Oak Grove a few times a year and are never disappointed
No sand in any sand traps
Course isn’t in the best shape. Every sand trap had just dirt in it. I’ve been here before and it was much better little disappointing. Not sure if you really wanna recommend this course. I know what it used to be. I used to love this place.

Second time playing course and I loved it. Course layout is excellent for all levels. Conditions were very good. Only course I know that serves bottle beer on the course.
Course has not changed for a few years now. Greens still need work. Cart paths need more work. Range turf is hardly ever available.
Great value
A little slow this time. Had 2 slow foursomes in front and no Ranger. Took over 4 hours and 15 minutes for 18 holes. Still a great course for the money!
