Friendly staff and nice course
The staff are always friendly here and the course is in good shape
Good Value Course
Surprisingly has become one of the cheaper 18-hole tee times in the area. Not the nicest course around, but it's decent for the value. The layout is a little plain, meaning a mostly down-and-back architecture, but you get good variety on hole lengths and elevation. The greens are tough here... a lot of turtle shell shapes where you are really punished for missing in certain spots. Almost every hole requires an uphill shot onto the green to some degree. The green care could be better... the speed was inconsistent and found some of the surfaces to be a tad bit shaggy. All in all, very easy to add strokes on and around the greens. The fairways were a bit shaggy as well.
The course is a bit weird at the moment with the new hole and new practice range but should be worth it in the long run. It's fun to add a short par four to the layout while also bringing the practice range closer to the clubhouse. It's still taking time for the new hole to fully settle in and be well taken care of.
No beverage cart was a bit puzzling for a Saturday, with nice weather at that. Clubhouse seemed to be understaffed with the girls needing to operate both the golf counter and the bar at the same time.
WOW
So impressed on the course condition, Staff seems to get better n better.
W3e drove over an hour to play there and will do it again
Nice
Very nice open layout. So you get some forgiveness.if yur shots aren't perfectly straight. For mid march and just opening, it was in great shape. The greens are small and tough, giving a good challenge. The sand in the bunkers is amazing and top notch quality. . Looks like their new driving range.is going to be great. Overall, a nice course and a great play for the price.
Just Golf!
Nice pace and relaxing. Most holes are straight aways. Hole 6 is a sharp 90 degree. If you can hit them straight you should be able to par or better. If not, well look at the bright side, you're golfing.
It's Fun
Lots of straight fairways. Good way not to loose so many balls. Par 4 seemed to be a little longer than norm, but I may be wrong. I did get a birdie on my last hole, so this is a great course to play. Just do it!
Interesting, with potential
Interesting layout. Could use some investment, particularly in groundskeeping, but not bad at all. Funniest little driving range that’s impossible to describe, but at least they have one!
Nice course, but lots of slow groups
This is a good golf course, interesting layout, in good condition, played on a day with great weather. What stops this from being a five-star review? SLOW PLAY. Some golfers need to learn proper golf etiquette (rake traps, fix ball marks) and to play ready golf. Unfortunately no ranger out there, apparently the last one quit because of the abuse received from some drunks on the course recently. Nice. Would still play here again but not in a rush to return.
Nippersink Golf
Course was in great shape. Greens were very nice and uniform. Starting to see a bit of clover in the rough which made it tricky spot your ball if you weren't always in the fairway. Very nice new driving range. A great value.
Lake Geneva Trip
Course listed as a golf resort on Golf Now. Far from a resort, more of a country golf course. Rolling green as we were playing
Great Value
Wasn't too busy so pace was nice. Weekend round for under $45 I can't argue
Lovely Day on the Course
The course is kept up pretty well. I was a single and sped through the first 6 holes until I hit a log jam. I paired up with another single and we had to wait for a couple of foursomes on the rest of the holes. The drink girls were attentive and the prices were very reasonable. A few of the greens had some dead spots and were pretty hard and fast. Wedge shots weren't sticking, which was frustrating. There are also a couple of holes where you are driving your cart right in the path of a tee box, so make sure to look for signs and watch for people hitting at you. Overall, I had a really nice day and will be back.
Golf Resort
I would call this course a country golf club; far from a resort
