Como Crossings at Hawk's View Golf Club
About
Como Crossings is the 18-hole championship course at Hawk's View Golf Club. It is the only five-star rated course in Lake Geneva. The club's other course, Barn Hollow, is also an 18-hole course but it offers a unique short game layout that is great for beginners and juniors. Como Crossings sprawls across rolling hills covered with mature vegetation and woodlands. Lakes and wetlands also dot the course, coming into play on seven holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greens. The front nine is more open while the back nine becomes more wooded and hilly. The course features some especially tricky par 3s, especially the 17th hole. It is a golf course that requires accuracy though it is forgiving with safe options on the left or right of most holes.

Great stop in Lake Geneva
We go out of our way to play here whenever we are traveling through the area. The course is challenging but beautiful and well maintained.
Beautiful setting and challenging holes
Terrific golf course, played in 4 hrs 15 min, greens in near perfect condition.
Due to heavy rain day prior was cart path only. Ended up walking 10K steps due to this, which caused a bit of fatigue as the sun came out for a hot afternoon.
One other minor issue...the range has no cleaning brush for your clubs after hitting irons, which is standard on most courses.
The bar and restaurant has great amenities and Friday night fish fry is excellent.
Great!
Can’t say enough about this track. Will play again before the end of the year!
Nice but quirky course with unacceptable greens
We’ve played this course before. Always enjoy it. While we almost always.walk when playing other golf courses, the beautiful elevation changes at Como Crossings make this course unwalkable for most players.
We had a fine round and a fine day. But the greens were inconsistent, extremely slow and looked like they had not been cut in days. This made for frustration on the greens all day long.
Always a Great Round
One of the best Gems in the Lake Geneva Area. Very challenging but fair so play the right tees for your abilities and you will have an Excellent Experience
Great service terrible storm.
Today was a tragic day in the lake Geneva area with terrible weather and storms.
The course staff were very well prepared and organized about how to handle the situation. They evacuated the entire course and later moved everyone to the basement for safety. To my knowledge everyone at the course was safe and sound. Just wet!
My sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at Hawks View for a job well done.
Can’t wait to get back to play golf!

Highly overpriced considering course condition was not what I expected. Maintenance of several holes made them Cart Path Only. Course was very wet considering we hadn't had much rain for the past couple of days. Halfway House was closed for food and beverage. Cart Girl didn't get out on the course until we were on the 16th hole...we started at 7:50am. No breakfast items in clubhouse...just a couple types of candy bars. Was expecting maybe a muffin or donut or something simple like that...not full breakfast.
Everything is Great, except Green Speed.
Honestly, course was in overall great shape, only problem was the Greens were probably rolling at a 6 on the stimp. Speed those things up and this course would be top notch.
Weird Pace
The course is amazing and extremely well maintained. Yesterday, the pace of play was kind of ridiculous. Not very many people on the course in early afternoon but we were getting pushed by faster and better players behind us so we let them play through. But then they got stuck behind a group that was playing even slower than we were, and then they started letting people skip holes when a junior league started. So you’ve got golf carts running back-and-forth and people just jumping into whatever hole they can find open. They finally told us to skip three holes and come back and play them at the end. Which we did. But the entire round took almost 5 1/2 hours.
Awesome Place
Great course, nice layout. The greens, fairways, tee boxes, and ruff were all cut and well maintained. They are doing some maintenance on the course, but I can appreciate them putting money into the place; it didn't take away from the game or the beauty of the day. Good people inside and outside keeping the place going. Looking forward to going back.
Very nice course
Great layout, great variety of holes, lots of decisions to make regarding risk/rewards - really like the course. Most is very exposed if it's a windy day.
Staff and course conditions excellent.
