Como Crossings at Hawk's View Golf Club
About
Como Crossings is the 18-hole championship course at Hawk's View Golf Club. It is the only five-star rated course in Lake Geneva. The club's other course, Barn Hollow, is also an 18-hole course but it offers a unique short game layout that is great for beginners and juniors. Como Crossings sprawls across rolling hills covered with mature vegetation and woodlands. Lakes and wetlands also dot the course, coming into play on seven holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greens. The front nine is more open while the back nine becomes more wooded and hilly. The course features some especially tricky par 3s, especially the 17th hole. It is a golf course that requires accuracy though it is forgiving with safe options on the left or right of most holes.

Weird Pace
The course is amazing and extremely well maintained. Yesterday, the pace of play was kind of ridiculous. Not very many people on the course in early afternoon but we were getting pushed by faster and better players behind us so we let them play through. But then they got stuck behind a group that was playing even slower than we were, and then they started letting people skip holes when a junior league started. So you’ve got golf carts running back-and-forth and people just jumping into whatever hole they can find open. They finally told us to skip three holes and come back and play them at the end. Which we did. But the entire round took almost 5 1/2 hours.
Awesome Place
Great course, nice layout. The greens, fairways, tee boxes, and ruff were all cut and well maintained. They are doing some maintenance on the course, but I can appreciate them putting money into the place; it didn't take away from the game or the beauty of the day. Good people inside and outside keeping the place going. Looking forward to going back.
Very nice course
Great layout, great variety of holes, lots of decisions to make regarding risk/rewards - really like the course. Most is very exposed if it's a windy day.
Staff and course conditions excellent.
Lake Geneva WI Hidden Gem
Hawk's View is a beautifully maintained challenging course that should be on a golfer's list to play in the southern Wisconsin region, Probably overshadowed by better know courses in the area but just as enjoyable to play, if in fact not more enjoyable to play. The staff throughout the facilty - pro shop, starters, restaurant and other support staff are all friendly and make you feel welcome. All aspects of the course were very well maintained - the rough was thick and you paid a bit of a penalty for not being in the fairway. Really like this facility.
Will never play again
This was one of my favorite courses however on Aug 10th we got rained out. Only played 2 holes and the siren blew for all golfers to go inside. It was pouring for hours. Went to the pro shop to get a rain check and was told no, I needed to tell GolfNow. I told GolfNow and they said it was the course that needed to refund me. I spent over $400 for my guests and I to play almost 2 holes and drive 1.5 hrs each direction as I’m from the Chicagoland area, not Wisconsin. I will never play here again unless this gets corrected. I’ve worked at several country clubs and public courses and this isn’t how you treat a paying customer.
Can't wait to play again.
I've played Hawksview 30 time.I keep going back. Fun course.
Fantastic course
I’ve played the course several times before and it was in great shape. We played it with rain in and out and still had an amazing round. Staff was fantastic! Course still played well, even with the rain fall.
