Como Crossings at Hawk's View Golf Club

About
Como Crossings is the 18-hole championship course at Hawk's View Golf Club. It is the only five-star rated course in Lake Geneva. The club's other course, Barn Hollow, is also an 18-hole course but it offers a unique short game layout that is great for beginners and juniors. Como Crossings sprawls across rolling hills covered with mature vegetation and woodlands. Lakes and wetlands also dot the course, coming into play on seven holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greens. The front nine is more open while the back nine becomes more wooded and hilly. The course features some especially tricky par 3s, especially the 17th hole. It is a golf course that requires accuracy though it is forgiving with safe options on the left or right of most holes.

Great late season round
Any round in November is a bonus. We had a 50 degree sunny day. The course overall was in great late season shape. The greens were slower than usual due to being cut less often than during prime season. Too many inconsiderate golfers also failed to fixed their divots in the greens. Leaves were not a problem and staff was great.
The course is very beautiful.
Very unique shapes, and lots of elevation change, especially on the back. Overall worth playing.
Sandy greens
I wish that the courses would tell Golf Now when the greens are sandy and full of holes. I would not have driven 45 miles to play under these conditions.
Something’s wrong there on the weekends.
Great layout, ok club and staff, plenty of rangers. Ridiculously crowded pace of play was at a crawl. 10 minute start offs, should maybe be 15 or 20 then ranger could before staying 1 hole ahead. 3 groups per hole on some holes. Won’t go back
Hawk's View
Awesome course with great views. Nice test but not a killer.
Great Value - Challenging Course
Wonderful course - great and different views from each hole. The course required a variety of shots. Some holes were set up for target golf, and others required a grip and rip, but all were fun and challenging.
I will be going back.
Awesome golf
Course was in great shape. Pace of play was slow but we expected that being later in the day on a Friday.
A Lake Geneva must play !
Right up there with the National, Grand Geneva....welcoming staff, nice layout, pace of play was well managed and conditions are very good. Greens are a challenge, stay below the hole. Enjoy the views on 17 !
Mississippi golfer
I really enjoyed the course. It was beautiful and had several different types of topography. I would highly recommend playing here to anyone
Great course
Hawks View is and always will be one of my favorite courses. It has a great layout with challenges on all holes.
Chalenge
This is real challenge but the multiple tee boxes evens the playing field for all golfers. I’m a Sr. So I played the combo of white and silver tees. Enjoyed the round.
Putting
You must look at each putt from more then one side. Very difficult to read.
