The Club at Shannondell, formerly known as George Washington Golf Course, has been ranked by Golf Digest as one of the "25 Best Golf Courses in Pennsylvania" and it's also on their list of "Best Places to Play." From the back tees, the course is just over 6,100 yards. Put away your driver because there won't be many chances to grip it and rip it on this course. It's a seemingly mild layout with wide, gently rolling fairways that appear forgiving, but the strategically placed hazards along the pitched greens demand well placed shots. The cut of the rough is also higher and there are several doglegs, placing even further emphasis on accuracy. Proper club selection is also very important on this golf course. The Club at Shannondell is a fun but fair test for players of all skill levels.

Good time.
Had a nice day at the course. Met three other gentleman and enjoyed the round. Pace of play a little slow due to a super senior foursome in front of us. They only played 9 holes. Course was on good shape.
Broken Priorities.
This is a fun short course that’s pretty score-able. Management is as greedy as it gets. They’re sending people out 8 minutes apart which is atrociously close together. We spent at minimum an extra 90 minutes just sitting around waiting for greens or tee boxes to clear. Not a single ranger was on the course checking on anything and they ran out of golf carts they had so many people out. Wish I could get my money back. Not returning anytime soon.
Ok Course
Badly needs water the course is drying up. Also needs grass cutting.
I’ve played here in the past and it was in better shape.
This course was enjoyable
Course needs the grass cut lower, hard to find the balls in you hit out of the fairways.
Needs to be watered more, it’s starting to dry out.
Pace of play was fine, we were started out on the back 9. This helped
Major burnout areas on greens, tees , fairways and rough.
The course was flooded and my refund was never issued. Please issue the refund ASAP.

Fast pace.
Course was in good condition. The greens were true and receptive due to last nights rain. Paired up with another fellow and had a good time. Price for the round was good. Will play there again. Caught up to a foursome and they let us play through on the next hole. I suggest putting water containers back on the course especially when the temperature is 94 degrees otherwise I will pack a came.🏌🏾♂️🦅
Course is in great shape
The course is in great shape. Went out around noon and had no issues with pace of play. Our foursome finished in about 3:45.
