Needs some work
I enjoy this course and for what I paid to walk on a weekday afternoon it was a great value. Greens were in good condition for this time of year, although on the hard side, you couldn’t make a divot on the greens at all. Not enough sand in the bunkers and many tee boxes were chewed up and uneven. I expect in another month conditions will greatly improve. This course is still worth playing.
Chilly round
Weather was supposed to be warmer but, oh well. Snow flurries while on the 15th hole. Greens had been plugged and sanded and haven't healed yet so there was some bounce to the puts. 18 holes by myself in under 3 hours, all in all not a bad day. Went home and took a nap to get warm.
Course has a great layout.
Pace of play really slow but course layout was great.
No tee boxes
There were no tee boxes so you tee off from wherever you like
Bensalem GC
Havnt played this course in 20 yrs, but as of the other day I would play this weekly ! The only thing I would ask of the tee time Mgr is add 5 more mins from group to group, 10 mins isn't enough with a 4 some, not for my benefit but to the ladies, seniors, and the 20+ handicappers. If I had my 4 some group play this course it would be a 3 hour round.
Other than that, this place is in tip top shape, greens are tricky and fast...which I love, the tee boxes and fairways are immaculate shape !
