Good course for the price, slow pace
Played on a late Saturday afternoon at 2:20 and were immediately backed up due to a slow group two groups in front of us and multiple singles sent out alone. We lost the slow group and single on 10 and it was smooth sailing after that. Fun challenging course that was in good shape. Need a beverage cart person and ranger going around for pace and it's perfect.
Harassment
The course is decent except for the extremely over-zealous rangers. They were on us before our round even started, frustrated that we hadn’t started yet despite it not even being the start time. Then they complained that our pace of play was too slow after the 2nd hole. (Completed 2nd hole in 25 min with a foursome). After, they followed us around till about the 5th hole making sure we were keeping pace. Mind you the group behind us was never close. I will not be going back and will tell everyone I know not to go.
bring ur own alchohol. they don''t have any. nice course. don't hit it in the rough if you can help it haha. greens not bumpy, few if any bare spots. lots of dog legs, can tee on a bunch of holes with 3 woods, long iron
Excellent value
The course was in really great shape today. When I arrived the ground crew were mowing the course, and several greens were freshly rolled. The grain in the hyead was clear and it definitely affected play adding some additional challenge. Greens were fast and receptive. There were some greens in need of repair, but overall the rolled true on a very hot summer day. Pace of play was good. I was paired with a threesome who were good guys, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend this course; will be back.
Tight Fairways
The course has tight fairways and thick rough. It is sometimes hard to find your ball if its not on the fairway. A few of the greens were in rough shape. Strangely the greens didn't hold approach shots well, but they were really slow putting.
I got a hot sausage at the snack bar by the driving range and it was the worst thing I have ever eaten. It was so burnt that it had the consistency of potato chips. Took one bite and threw it out.
Good round
The fairways and tee boxes are in excellent condition. Some of the greens could use some work. Overall, it is a fun course to play.
Pro shop employees are all nice and Luke, at the bar is a great guy
