Reedsburg Country Club

About
Reedsburg Country Club is a championship golf course that requires both accuracy and strategy. Originally opened as a nine-hole course in 1925, only three of the original holes still exist today. The course underwent a major renovation in the 1970s that expanded it to a full 18 holes. At only 6,300 yards from the back tees, it is shorter than most modern championship golf courses but don't let the yardage fool you. This course will test you on even its shortest holes. Every hole features either out-of-bounds or a lateral water hazard on one or both sides. Reedsburg Country Club's greens range from small to large but what they have in common is that they are all fast, undulating, and framed with pot bunkers. A creek also meanders in front of the greens of five holes.

Great layout
This course was in great shape with many creative holes; wide open at times and narrow points at others. Fast and fair greens.
A fun course, but not easy.
This is a beautiful couse that never gets boring. There is alot of variety of shots and terrain. The greens are always excellent.
If you play in the Dells, it's worth the short trip to Reedsburg
Classic country club layout with mature trees and doglegs, yet many open and bailout areas so that errant shots do not turn into lost balls or search parties. Greens were in great shape, and sand was in good condition. I'll make it a point to play here when I'm in the area.
Nice Course
Enjoyed our round at Reedsburg. Always tough to putt on the fast greens. Excellent shape.
A nice Sunday afternoon.
It was a bright Summer's day when we were there, arriving on time and ready to play. The pro shop was nicely set up, and the carts were clean and so we went to the first tee. The course is in excellent condition, even though Wisconsin has been getting more than it's share of rain. Google the website, and check out the layout. It is very walkable, the cart is nice, but not necessary. Course has 4 tees for each hole, and are all very well cared for. The course is a challenge for a novice like myself. But by the same token, very fun. More water holes than I am used to, I feel good only loosing 3 balls in the water. I rate the course on par with Devil's Head, Portage C/C, Spring Green or any of the nicer courses in this part of Wisconsin. We will go back.
Greens were smooth and fast
Considering all the rain this course has taken it was in fantastic shape. The greens were fast and smooth. They were challenging with a lot of double breakers. The fairways were mostly well maintained except for 3 or 4 which needed mowing.Plenty of maintenance workers mowing, weeding, raking and general cleanup. The rough was a good 4'' and position shots were critical.Geat course!
Great shape for November in Wisconsin
Fairways cleared of leaves, greens in good and challenging shape.
a fun well kept golf course
the course is kept in great shape, all the staff are friendly, all in all a "Great" Course " to play, I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a challenge and wants to play a well maintained golf course
Like playing at Reedsburg a couple of times a year because it has a lot of variety.
The greens are tough because usually appear to be very fast but I have been told that this is how greens are suppose to be (probably if you're a good golfer). Beautiful surroundings with "lots of trees" with enough water holes to keep you attentive.
Nice layout
More of a traditional course. Not trumped up with forced carries, etc. Most of the hazards are visible and greens were moderate speed.
Beautiful course, well established, great staff.
I was on vacation in the Reedsburg, WI visiting family. We played Reedsburg CC. The staff was very friendly, the course was in great shape, tough but fair.
I would definitely recommend this golf course.....
