Viroqua Hills Golf Course
About
Viroqua Hills Golf Course is tucked away amongst lush, rolling hills in the heart of Vernon County. Originally opened in 1930 as a public nine-hole course, and another nine was added in 1996, bringing the length to over 6,300 yards. The original nine, holes 1-3 and 13-18, has a traditional design that plays across wooded hills. Getting to the new nine requires crossing through a tunnel where on the other side, two ponds and a waterfall await you. Both nines have a distinct character but they both feature undulating greens and wide fairways lined with mature pine, oak, and birch trees. There are also sand traps bordering the greens on 14 holes and the fairways on six holes. The 11th is Viroqua Hills Golf Course's signature hole, known for the scenic view from its elevated tee box perched 100 feet above the fairway.

Viroqua Hills
Course was in good shape for this early in the season. I enjoy playing this course
Good course from start to finish
Viroqua is a good course for intermediate level golfers. Greens are rarely flat, so putting is quite challenging. Well maintained fairways and rough makes it easy to find a ball that wasn’t perfectly struck. Holes 4, 11, and 1 are high upon hills and fun to play for sure. As far as affordability, it is fairly priced.
Beautiful Course
This course is absolutely beautiful.....definately would go again.....
Very nice great condition
One of the nicest public courses in the area.

Early spring golf very windy
Wind made it a challenge but had fun and the beer was cold.
