Golden Oaks Golf Club

Course in pristine condition for this time of year and well worth the money. Other courses that charge same amount if not more are nowhere near the condition this course was in. Would recommend this and will be back many times

Have been playing Golden Oaks for many years and have never been disappointed.. Its a well maintained course with plenty of amenities. For value with the deals that can be had through golfnow.com.. its one of the better choices for the money.. The course starts out pretty easy and uneventful.. What you'll remember is the final 3 holes here, the best stretch on the course. The 18th is a beauty of a par 5 with water all down the left side.. At the outdoor grill right at the 10th tee, you'll get one of the best hot dogs you've ever had here.. Dont miss it..

Pretty nice course for the money, of course you have to figure in driving time/distance/gas. Usually the pace of play is pretty good, but it can get bogged down.

Greens are some of the better ones among the moderately priced public courses in the area. I doubt they are equal with the highend $100+ publics, and can't hold a candle to private course greens... but where in Philadelphia are there great public golf courses? As someone who has lived in other parts of the country philly public golf is overrated and over priced. However, Golden Oaks is one of the best among these.

Mid-October play. Tees, fairways, greens in golfers' delight condition. Greens smooth and fast. Rough not difficult, but trees galore can create trouble. Four sets of tees contribute to the challenge. Country woods scenic. landscape. Good pro shop and facilities, friendly personnel. An enjoyable golf experience.

Golden Oaks is in a beautiful setting in Berks County. Some say the the tee box on number seventeen is the highest point in the county. The greens are like country club true and fast.

although the regular rates are a little high the Golf Now special made it unbeatable!

This is a beautiful course in great condition from tees to greens and a lot of fun to play. Almost every hole is decorated with rocks and plants for some visual impact. At times you feel you are playing in a garden. I'd definitely come back and play again!

The sand in the traps needs improvement. Sand is hard causing the club to bounce

Golden Oaks was in great shape EVERY time we played this year.The greens were fast but not too fast and the sand traps and fairways were in top shape also. This was the best course we played all year and a great dollar value.Play it - you'll be back !!
