Only bad thing is there is no refreshment cart on the course. 18 holes is a long time to play without hydration. Get a refreshment cart and we can bump it up to 5 star

Course was challenging greens were well-maintained. It is a bit busy, but the play is manageable.

I should have listened to reviews. I used to play this course. It was a nice set up, pace was good, times were available , course interesting and not daunting and in good shape. Now it’s a nightmare- like management has given up. Only leaving stars for

Pro shop staff who were helpful and sympathetic and stars for guys I played with who were funny, had good ideas on approaches and patient. We played on a weekday - not weekend. I can’t imagine what it’s like on weekends.

The ugly- took 5:45 hours to play. That’s not a misprint. How can a short course possibly take so long ? Two to three groups deep on each hole. I did not see the normal poor/new golfers causing the slowdown- there were just way too many groups out.

Bad- course is in mediocre shape. Rough can come all the way up to the green on many holes. I’m no expert but I’ve never seen that. All kinds of ball marks on green. No one repairs their mark here? You have six hours to do it.

Two groups in front of never raked a sand trap. Poor groundskeeper looked frustrated at three holes.

The Turn- do not order from the grill. They had one guy who was cashier, cook and bartender all in one. My partners tried to call in an order at Hole 8 but no one answered. When they did get there it took 20 minutes. There was no need to rush since there were two groups waiting at 10.

Luckily for me I could get work done while I waited at each tee otherwise like other reviewers I would have left after hole 3.

Pro Shop Staff- I felt bad for them. Obviously they were just following orders and looked as frustrated as the rest of us.

I won’t be back. There are way too many other places to play where the course is managed significantly better.

We made a tee time at 3:04pm and figured we would for sure be done before dark at 8:15 or so. Instead, we wound up in a queue waiting for carts to come in. So many frustrated people who had their tee times delayed because of not having enough golf carts. Luckily we were able to sit in the shade while we waited and we were given bottles of water. We did not tee off until after 3:30pm and we therefore did not get to finish our round. The pace of play was really bad on top of the delayed tee time. We will be opting for Long Beach courses in the future.

The pace of play will kill you. They allow 5somes and tee times are only 7 minutes apart. It’s criminal at this point I suggest you play here on weekday afternoons

Tee time was at 10:45 , we did not tee off until 11:35 allegedly it was only 15 mins behind , pace was so slow it was 2:30 pm we just had finish hole 9 couldn’t even finish the hole round because it was so backed up

This course was back up about an hour. Our tee time was suppose to be 1:46pm but didn’t end up teeing off til 3:00pm. On top of that there was TWO 5 SOME GROUP in front of us. lol the people that work schedule these group and tee time at this course don’t give a shot. Maybe it’s just the weekend idk but I’m guessing most courses on the weekend are almost the same.

This is a good course. Regulation, wide fairways, good greens. But the pace of play is terrible, it’s constantly hurry up to wait. Usually 2 or 3 groups backed up on holes. If the pace of play was better I would recommend but until this is fixed I’d say stay away.

Pace play was terrible that I only got to play 3 holes in 2 1/2 hours. Didn’t give me my money back. I’m never going back. First and last.

It smells like vomit and poison all around the course also 3 groups waiting at every hole we left after 3 and half hours playing 9’holes

The round took my group almost 8 hours to get through. We had a minimum of 3 groups waiting at each tee box for the entire round. The pro shop called 4 groups waiting to tee off 5 minutes before my group was set to tee off, when I asked they told me they were “6 minutes behind.” We had one guy not show up, and the course is charging for a no show after the staff said it would be fine. Will not be playing here again.

Slow play

We arrived checked in first tee was running over an hour late seem like they just packed everyone who showed up we did not play we asked for a refund I went and played golf in another course exam believable had to been at least six foursomes waiting at the number one Teebox.
