Overall, the course was in good condition for the price. However, play was quite slow, as it took more than 5 hours to finish 18 hole
Good condition
1. field condition is very good
2. Your staff(pretty young lady) is soooooooo nice with bright smile
3. there were some high school groups ahead of me and one guy was so rude ( not to me but to green^^), which made me a little bit nervous and scare.
We arrived 3 minutes before tee time, there was a line to check in bye the time they chous in we were 8 minutes late and wouldn’t allow us to tee off
Course was in better condition then usual and green was fast and rolled welled
Course conditions
Played the course on 3/1/26 with some friends and right out of the gate in the 1st fairway there was NO sand in the bottles on the cart. How can we take care of the course if your own employee's don't care.??
The so called sand traps are a absolute embarrassment!!
We pay good money to play this course and you can't stop flooding the bunkers and just compacting dirt on top of dirt it's absolutely irresponsible and and not caring about putting out a great course . Fire the greens keeper, fire management, fire the city council, fire somebody and put somebody in there that will bring this course back to the best course in the long beach area..
Pace of play
Pace of play was very slow!! We waited at each hole cor 15 min.. no marshall at all. I wouldnt play there again
From management to staff workers to ambassadors.
Rude and incompetent! Black older male that is a starter is super rude and Tom the manager needs to address that guy’s customer service skills. I’m not even going to go into detail besides that he literally mocks you as you check in, and if you get a golf now deal you’ll see what I mean when you get there and if you get that starter.
Ambassador tried kicking me out because he said no singles are allowed to play alone. And I told him that it was not my problem the tee time slots was not taken.
Aggressive Korean players behind me called the proshop on me stating that I went in front of them (considering I was a single) and the dumb Marshall/ambassador went after me vs trying to deescalate the situation with the other players.
This is a long story short. It was a mess, don’t go here unless you got a group of friends to back you up.
Tom the manager is killing the golf course. Joyce the previous manager was a great manager and she would always respond appreciatively. Thankfully she left of a real country club.
