Los Amigos Country Club

This is a pretty nice municipal course. Front nine has no water, just trees and sand traps. Back nine has some water and one hole (16) where water comes into play,. Course is well maintained, only thing missing at the tee boxes are lay-outs of the holes. So when you play this course for the first time, it it not always clear where to hit to. There are several dog leg holes where it not clear off the tee where to aim for. But other than that, this is a good course for all levels at a very reasonable price.

Had a 1:58pm tee as a pair of two. We noticed there was a line at the tee but there seemed to be at least someone on the loudspeaker announcing tee offs and who was next. This pretty much faded away and we weren't able to tee-off until 2:18. It then took us 1.5 to play 4 holes due to massive backup.

After it took us almost 3 hours to finish 9 (at sundown) the clubhouse basically said, "oh well, on friday, saturday, and sunday it backs up. We have a men's club play".

Good to know I pay $30 to go f myself because they overbook tee times and no warden to regulate play.

This course is great for beginners to start getting out of the training course. For intermediate players, it's a great course to experiment with tweaks in your game. The grounds are kept nicely and there is plenty of parking. Great chipping practice area and two putting practice areas too. I haven't used the driving range yet but will on my next visit.

I think holes 14, 15,16, 17 and 18 are the most fun.

I would not go if I knew the greens were this bumpy and nasty. The pace of play is also amazingly slow and no one controls it. Not going there again.

This was the first time I played at this course. It met my expectations as a reasonably priced public golf course. The fairway was good and the greens were a bit fast but easy to play. I would recommend this course to any casual golfer. Serious golfers may find the course not challenging enough.

we played on 12/25, it was light rain and not many people play. So pace of play was so fast, and in total 3.5 hours finished in 18 holes
