Just OK
Course layout isn't bad, but conditions weren't great, especially the greens, which had rough patches.
Not worth the new price increases at all.
What this course is charging now is ridiculous. I see absolutely no changes in quality of greens or t blocks. If youre a decent female golfer teeing up at the reds - good luck finding a piece of grass to put your tee into. It’s just dirt and gravel. Horrific tee blocks. Greens all have diseases with patches like a leopard covering the whole thing. Broken trees down right in the way on most fairways. Just hit a pray you don’t smash a tree. Not to mention they still haven’t cleaned up the brush from the 2023 hurricane. $80 is ridiculous when clearly $25 would be sufficient. Get it together.
Good piece of play, nice layout, the greens are not in the best condition. Overall satisfied though.
The greens are terrible!!
The price was good I used a discount coupon with my golf pass membership this is not a course you can over power if you hit a long ball. The craziest tee shot was on hole 15 you have to hit over houses and trees to the fairway. Besides that the houses don’t come into play unless you really spray your tee shots. The fairways are really generous. My only complaints would be some of the tee boxes were kinda bare and all the greens were bad!! There are weeds on every green. I was there to practice for a up coming tournament at a different course to get some reps but I would not play there again until the greens and tee boxes are in better shape.
Brutal Greens
Can’t really say this round was anything more than a huge disappointment. Course conditions all around are awful. Tee boxes are completely beat up. Fairways are scruffy. Worst of all were the greens though. They are covered in bumpy spots of either weeds or some type of unwanted grass. Pace of play was terrible. We finally skipped 5 holes to get ahead of multiple groups that were playing painfully slow. Only real positive for the day was that the staff was friendly. Only way I’d consider coming back though would be for the price to be around $20. Anything more than that and it’s a horrible value.
beat up
beat up. The best way to describe this course. When it was $19.99 to do a round of golf, you generally accepted it. But They charged $59. And his course isn't worth $60. It's barely worth the $20. Save your money and go to Falcon's Fire or Ramington if you're in the area until they clean this place up.
Also, under no circumstances use the bathroom before the 6th hole. It was *flowing* with butt mud all over the walls, the toilet, and the floor. *disgusting*
Greens patchy with small clumps of new grass. Fairways dry but not terrible. Layout nice.
Challenging course but greens are terrible.
We played the course last year and enjoyed it, but this year the greens were awful. The greens are badly diseased with crab grass which really spoilt our game. Putting was impossible so we picked up on most greens.
Tee-box condition was also very poor.
On the positive side, pace of play was good and the staff were friendly.
Sadly won’t be returning to play again.
Oaks
Ownership has made noticeable improvements to this course. Still a little work to do. Hope they can improve the sand quality. Some of the huge Oak trees could be cut back a little to help the average golfer. The greens rolled nice but they had a little something going on with some irregularities in grass.
Low price for a reason.
We played at peak season in Florida. Prices are high everywhere. Looking to save some money we tried Oaks National. Got a $55 rate online and booked it.
The pro shop and lounge seem brand new and look beautiful. The staff in the pro shop and snack shop are extremely nice. The course was a different story. The weather in Florida has been challenging and it really shows on this course. The fairways are super thin. Lots of bare spots. The layout is difficult, not knowing the course. Many blind tee shots. On a few holes we had trouble knowing where to aim because we had never played there and had trouble seeing the fairway. But all this aside, it was the greens that made it really bad. They are covered with some kind of weedy patches. Every green has them. Balls bounce and change direction as you put over them. I probably would not recommend this course at this time. If the news gets out that fairways fill in and they fix the greens I’d give it another shot. Right now (Feb 2026) I’d probably not play here.
Course good for beginner
Too much poa-annua on greens - pace of play terrible
Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money with this course, got told in the clubhouse to leave by another golfer before checking in, should’ve listened to him. Pace of play is awful and in terrible shape. Left after 13 holes, would not recommend.
