Oaks National Golf Club

Kudos to team. You are bringing back a great course. Greens are a vast improvement. Tees still need a lot of TLC. Fairways are fair to good. Rough is very rough. Bunkers are basically mud, but surprisingly you can hit out of them. I will be back because I love the layout. However, fee will be the determining factor.

Course has a lot of potential. They need to tree branches on hole 11,12,13,15, and 16. On hole 14 move the tee to the right because the whole grass is dying. Cut the greens a little bit more and more people will come. Salute.

I've been playing golf here for years, and this has been my best experience yet. The fees were reasonable, and the overall cost was well worth it. The greens were a bit slow, but they were in excellent condition. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking for great value!"

I haven’t played this course in years…they’ve definitely done a good job bringing this course back from the dead. The fairways were in good condition. The greens were in great shape, although they were rolling slow. It may be because of all the rain we just had though. The tee boxes were trash. They still need to do something about the tee boxes. I also forgot how difficult the layout is. I haven’t played this course in over ten years and forgot how difficult the layout is. The layout alone makes me not want to come back. But I do have to give kudos to the current management team for making this course playable again.

I first played Oaks national 11 years ago. It was in some pretty rough shape. Over the years it got a little worse but now I’ve heard it’s under new management and it’s condition is fantastic. The greens rolled true at a very nice pace. The rough is cut to a reasonable level. Certain areas that were overgrown have been cut down. All in all, it’s a fantastic layout that’s in great shape at a great price. Play here at your next available opportunity.

With the new ownership this course is the best in the area, the greens were immaculate not even a spot of brown.

Played Saturday at 3pm and nearly had course to myself. Played 18 as a single in about 2 hours. Greens were in very good shape. Tee boxes still a work in progress. Can’t beat the price. Will be back

Since new management took over in the past year, there have been noticeable improvements. However, it still needs work.

Some of the trees and branches need to be trimmed or cut back on numerous holes. The cart paths need some work filling and leveling holes. They need better quality sand in the traps. The tee boxes and frog hair areas surrounding the greens need some upkeep before they get worn out again. Hope they can continue to make these improvements.

Bring your balls !

Water plays on most holes on this course so be prepared with a couple extra balls. A flat, wide open course with plenty of long holes. Very nice staff and a promising future lie ahead for Oaks National !

I played at the Oaks many times over the past 10 years. At one point the course was in horrible shape. I was informed the course is under new management and it shows. The greens were the best I’ve ever seen them. The rough was cut to a reasonable length. And some seriously overgrown areas have been trimmed back so as to not impede play or obstruct vision. And at $25, you just can’t beat it play this course at your next available opportunity.

The Golf Pro was very nice and engaging. The cart people did a great job. Greens were very good and could use a little tweaking. Course layout is wonderful. Had to hit every club in my bag. We will be back.

I have played this course for the past 25 years off an on. At its peak , once at its worse ...... New owners have given new life to this old Jem of a course. I have played 8 times since beginning of 2025 especially for the price. Just a few tee boxes need work, but greens a true.. once rain kicks in course will be even better.
