Oaks National Golf Club

The course is a budget course. The greens are in good shape, fairways are playable, tee blocks are decent a couple are rough. The rough is what it is, there are different types of grass in the rough some places the ball sits down and hard to fine. I keep finding them wish you would lose a better quality ball. LOL

The weather not helping in keeping up with some of the grass cutting.

If looking for a perfect golf course go pay $70 - $90 if looking to get out and play a round of golf the Oaks will do. I would rather play 3 rounds as to 1.

Rough is very rugged and difficult to find balls on dairway. Staff are great

The layout is challenging. The greens are slow and flat. Water holes and plenty of dog legs. Now the bad part. If you can’t keep your ball in the fairways. You are done. The ruff swallows your golf ball. The grass isn’t long. But the ball just sinks into the ruff and you can’t find it I guess they can’t water the course. Everywhere is burnt grass especially the tee areas. So bring a full box of balls.

The course layout is very challenging, essentially if you are playing it for the first time; it is also all around the houses and across a number of roads.;

I got my game as a Hot price, so it was worth it, but the whole course is in need of a lot of work being done to it.

If you when off the fairway even slightly good luck finding your ball the grass was pretty deep. The tee blocks were sand and weeds. The fairways and greens were in pretty good shape.

There’s a lot of negative reviews of this course. Some of them warranted. But for the market rate on fees, I found this course to be an enjoyable play for the value. This course can be pristine but it seems like it’s struggling for players. A little love on the fairways and greens would go a long way. Lots of criticism of the tee boxes (which I don’t really understand, maybe I just don’t care as much about this aspect as I’m always hitting off a tee). Loved the layout. Great, spacious driving range. It wasn’t busy, which was lovely for our pace of play but I hope this course gets more visitors in season. It deserves it. Fantastic staff at the pro shop. They gave us tips on the course as it was our first time and made every effort to make our round most enjoyable.

If this course had any other name people would not even look at it, but seeing how it has the “National” in its name I thought it should be somewhat good. However, it is one of the worst courses I have ever played, the Tee boxes were more like sand traps, no grass to be seen. If I were GolfNow, I would not advertise this course until it get in better condition if that is even possible.

The Oaks has some potential. The greens were true and were in good shape. The tee boxes need work.

The fairways were in decent shape. Lots of weeds in the rough areas. Some of the layout is a little strange.

I think the ownership is trying but it’s hard to stay on top of everything when you aren’t getting enough revenue from golfers.

Course was a little tired, greens and tee boxes could have been in better condition. Otherwise, it was a good experience!!

The greens and fairways are in their best shape since COVID. The staff are very kind and helpful.

Rough to much for me to long looking for balls which were right under you. Lots of water. Which was okay

Played before but now is just not wort the money. Fairway is decent but if you draw to any side your ball is lost, poor maintenance. The greens are decent need some attention, maybe using some rolling to make it perfect. In the other side birds just have fun damaging the greens. In general this course is going south if management did not do something, cutting the grass at faiways sides will improve the pace of play. Not sure if this ok but there was a tent in the golf course, homeless should be allowed in the course.
