Golfer Reviews
Rough is rough and some t boxes too… prepare to be frustrated
Lost about a dozen golf balls in play on the edge of the fairways or “first cut” when you drop and place - ball disappears 90 percent from site immediately. Course has great bones and layout with a ton of potential, greens were in good shape and staff friendly. But every time you drive up to a shot thinking it’s right up there I saw it land then spend 3-4 minutes per shot searching for your ball in disbelief because you KNEW it was a more than descent shot, the round becomes more frustrating than fun, not sure about the other courses in the area but it was 1/2 - 1/3 of the cost of the surrounding tracks which ultimately led us here. Golfers beware - if you don’t find the fairways, you could be in for a day
Overall good experience, needs improvement.
Greens have responded well to recent rains but because of this the fairways need attention. I’ve never lost so many balls in the middle of the fairways. Value priced, value experience. Overall enjoyed the experience.
Horrible conditions
Fairways were like a hay field. Impossible to find a ball in the rough. Will not go back.
Unbelievable
This might be one of the worst golf courses in not only central Florida, but the continental United States.
There were two redeeming factors for this place: 1) the guy running the pro shop was friendly, 2) it was cheap to play.
I don’t know where to start with what needs to be fixed. The place looked like a scene out of Jurassic Park. Overgrown grass everywhere, fairways chopped up and overgrown by over 6 inches, and essentially no greens or tee boxes.
The holes got worse the further away you got from the clubhouse. I am actually convinced the man running the pro shop has no idea what the place looks like outside of the driving range and the 9, 18 greens.
Would not recommend to anyone and I might actually petition to have this place closed by the city of Kissimmee.
Not worth the price. Avoid at all cost. Tee boxe none existing. Forget about fairway. You will not find your ball in the ruff
The course
The course is getting better. Great for the money.
Course is in terrible condition
Booked a round for sunday morning, weather was absolutely perfect and was really looking forward to this round.
Got to the course and checked in, staff was super helpful and friendly. That is about the last good thing I can say about this course.
What you would call the fairway was completely overgrown. Looked as if the course had not had a maintenance crew in months. The rough was even worse. There was crabgrass and weeds growing everywhere. Tee boxes were completely overgrown and covered in ant piles.
This was by far the worst conditioned course I have ever played in my 10+ years of playing golf. This course should cost a maximum of $5 to play given the conditions and even at that price I would never play it again.
Far from good
Greens were the best part about this course. Fairways are nonexistent, might as well be a pasture. Short rough is so bad unless you have GPS, 90% of playable balls you wouldn't find with a bloodhound. Cart path is an off road course. Overall, for the amount you spend in lost "playable" balls, go to a course that cost $15 more and enjoy your outing
Horrible conditions
Teebox, fairway/rough, and greens in horrible condition. Even after taking into consideration of the hurricane 4+days ago the course is atrocious tee boxes where either sand weeds or combo of both. Fairways were barely below rough standards, fairways also has patches of grass/weeds that were 6in to 1 ft. Greens had sand filling divots and brown spots on them and the rough was combo of weeds and grass thick enough that u can find a ball in it unless u step on it. Course was not worth the 25 dollars i paid. Also looks like there was 0 effort in cleaning up the course ater the storm.
Horrible course conditions
The course was in horrible condition. The words in the fairway were extremely bad. I felt like I was playing in a field not a golf course. The greens were the only decent part of the course.
The guy was friendly and told me the rough was bad, but said nothing about the fairways or tee boxes.
Absolutely the worst course I have ever played on.
Don’t believe the good reviews
This golf course was the worst I have ever golfed on. I should have known a $16.99 rate gives you a $16.99 value. The fairways were unmoved, the rough hadn’t been mowed in a long time. There was debris everywhere. The bridge on one hole was falling apart. I think the layout is amazing but the course needs a lot of work
Mistake Made
As a local I always saw it on Golf Now and read the other reviews. Decided that really how bad could it be? Worse is the answer. This course in its day was probably fabulous. Now it is not. Friendly lady checked us in at 0700. Range had sign it was closed so no warm up.
Let me shorten the review. My friend plays to a 7 and me a ten. We stopped tracking strokes after the third hole.Shots slightly off the fairway cannot be found in the rough. The course does not drain so everything is a wet mess. Tee boxes are cut but not maintained. Had to move my ball multiple times in fairway since I landed in multiple weeds. The only shining point is the greens. Although not perfect, they rolled true. Take my advice, its not worth your $25
Manage your Expectation
Booked a Sunday morning tee time the night before; first time playing here. Like other reviews state; the greens are the best part of this course. Unfortunately the range was closed when we played (they’re waiting on supplies of range balls because people keep taking them…..)
First couple holes were frustrating because unless you hit the fairway, you’re going to have a hard time finding your ball on most holes. I had 3 shots throughout the round I watched land but were unable to find my ball. If you stay in the fairway your golden.
The layout is challenging, doglegs, long par 3’s, blind shot holes, etc. With proper upkeep this course would be great.
But for the cost of a little more than a large bucket of range balls, give it a shot. The pace and golf carts are pretty fast too!
