Oaks National Golf Club

the oaks was making some really nice progress from its past cow pasture status. That seems to have stopped. They need a ranger, really slow play, allowing fivesomes who were clueless to faster groups. Lots of weeds back in the greens. Many of the traps are just packed dirt. Dead trees have been in play since the hurricanes. It is a shame, it is a great layout that needs a little more love.

Enjoyable round of golf. Good course for all levels of golfers.

It's much better than the last time we were there. The greens were ok, but some of the tee boxes were rough. The fairways need to get thicker. Around the greens were quite green.. Water would be great!

Overall,I enjoyed the course but as mentioned in other reviews pick the tee that suits your ability as target golf is required.

The practice facility is generous so plenty of space.

The course is getting maintenance to clean up some overgrown brush on certain holes which is necessary as some holes are tight and slicers might donate.some balls.

The greens and aprons are in good shape so greenside chips are good conditions.

The fairways are patchy but drought may play a part.

Overall, staff are.nice and well worth the price point.

Played the course 4 times the last week and had a good experience every time

The course are in good shape for the time of the year though there at some of the t-boxes and greens that could need a little more love

Pace was great - around 3:45 for a 3-ball

Hope the car-paths are on the list for update

The course was better than recent reviews suggested. My wife, who has a world handicap of 14.3, really enjoyed the course and found it extremely playable. The ball had plenty of run and the red tees meant that most of the par 4’s were reachable in two and there were birdie opportunities. I enjoyed the course from the back tees but did not find it do be as good as others played this week. The greens were in good condition and the driving range looked like a well used facility. The two standout holes were the 10th which should be a straightforward birdie if you get your drive away. Unfortunately 5 balls were lost from the tee. The par 3 around the 14th is a great golf hole with water and measuring nearly 150yards. An ability to move the ball from left to right on the back 9 is hugely beneficial. Overall a good course for mid for 10 to 20 handicapped golfers in my opinion.
